Black representatives from all over the country, led by Star Parker and her CURE coalition held a news conference to confront the Nation's Leader on his attempt to subvert the Second Amendment. Now, if you hadn't chanced upon the tape-delayed showing of this news conference, which is exactly what happened to me, you would never have discovered that there is a large group of highly intelligent, organized Americans who look like our country's leader, and respectfully think the Constitution is more important that any one human being.

Hoorah for Star and her merry band of Constitutionalists, speaking truth to power! It is also interesting that, while the Establishmentarian Republicans are stumbling around trying to find relevance, here are genuine, out of the box conservatives that could be a big help. How come we've never heard of them on the lips of the the Republican bigs?
 

Shelby Helps Hating Israel

If you have 55 votes out of 100, all you need if 5 votes. Olympia Snow is pissed off with almost every Republican in the senate right now and is getting ready to retire as is Shelby of Alabama. Carl Rove threw all his money behind the Alaska Senator and she's not crazy about any conservative, and the Dems have something on Deb Fischer of Nebraska. Orrin Hatch will make number five.

So the fact that Lindsey and Tim and 13 other senators sent a message to Obama, today, asking him to withdraw Chuck Hagel's name from consideration won't matter, as the Republican party continues to sort itself out. One thing is certain, however. With Chuck Hagel at the helm as SecDef, Israel has every right to feel very, very nervous. He will do everything Obama wants. Willingly.

The Nature of Nature Is Not Very Nice

A beautiful woman, wonderful mother, and outstanding high school basketball coach lies dead tonight because of selfishness, possible stupidity, and, perhaps, even wickedness.

WCSC television news reports that authorities arrested Daveline Leshon Holmes in the hit-and-run death of Kingstree High School girls basketball coach Sonya Burgess. Holmes left a convenience store on Highway 52 and failed to yield to Burgess' SUV. Burgess, they say, was ejected from her vehicle when it turned over, after the collision. Holmes has been charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of a collision involving death.

WCSC's blog allows people to comment on their stories for free, like WYFF-TV and The State Newspaper, all to be commended. There is a guy who calls himself "Cold War Veteran," who makes some excellent comments, and I really enjoy what he writes. I felt really sad when I read that he was questioning why such bad things happen to good people. Here's what I wrote to him:

"I hate to go all theological on you, here, but CWV asked the eternal question, and it deserves an answer. It may not be a helpful answer, but it is the one St. Thomas Aquinas would give: Bad things happen to good people because nature is fallen. In scientific terms, nature cannot be progressive, because the natural state of matter is entropy, hence good cannot come from itself. Good must come from an outside source. Anybody want to guess Who that Source might be?"

I know this is not subtle, but sometimes you just have to step up and say,"I'm in God's corner."
 

So What If A Big Fat Liar Got Elected By Big Fat Lies??

So, if there is proof that Obama was elected by fraud, will the Democrats vote to convict on impeachment? Forget that, would the Republicans have the huevos to bring articles of impeachment?

After today's rah-rah speech in which Obama lied three separate times and failed to mention that the sequester was HIS idea, people lying to vote for him many times - not just twice - doesn't seem so far fetched any more. We know there are very important precincts in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois on which the states' electoral votes stand or fall. Each of those precinct results are questionable.

I don't give a royal rat's rear about Obama playing with Tiger. Who Cares? I care that the media is giving him a pass when he is destroying our money by destabilizing our military by placing political generals and admirals in head positions instead of heroes and gutting special Naval ops instead of cutting funding to Obama's cronies. Remember that the ONLY reason people take our money is because we can still beat the crap out of them. And that's not going to be true, very, very soon, thanks to Barack Hussein Obama.
 

If He Wins, Does That Mean We Have To Kiss His Butt In Spanish, and Will He Have an Office in Argentina?

I didn't like "Mark" Sanford even before he cheated on his wife. He was needlessly combative and hurt reform more than helped it by his antics. I didn't particularly care for his smirking lieutenants, either, save a couple of people who were genuinely nice. If he wins, he will not be a true Congressional Representative of this state, neither will he be a true conservative. His friends and his money come from the Cocktail Establishmentarian Northeast Republicanistas. Don't trust me, just do a little research, and you can see for yourself.

I can't tell you for whom to vote in the First Congressional District. But, if you vote for him, you're either just stupid, or you owe him money.

What, you may ask, is a Tupolev-95? As it happens, it's a large, Soviet-era Nuke- carrying bomber. According to observers on Guam, Friday, two Tu-95s were carrying nuclear weapons. People who keep track of such things tell us that this is the third time since 2010 that Tu-95s have "wandered" into US air space on or near the west coast.

Now, you may also ask yourself, why haven't you heard about these incursions on American air space? And THAT is an answer I cannot give you. I can tell you why the Russians feel so emboldened as to violate our air space, but you already know why, so it would be a waste of time.

When things got tough in the Roman Senate, the Imperator often took off for a vacation in Ravenna. They didn't have golf in Ancient Rome, but there was plenty of recreation. Things are getting tough in the American Congress.
 

Snow and Meteors Nobody Predicted..

Friday, our weatherpersons predicted a chance of flurries for Saturday, and there was an inch of snow or more in our yards. It melted, but it was there for hours.

Monday, when they smile sweetly at the camera and chuckle, "well, we kinda let that one slip by us," just remember that it's not really their fault - they can't predict weather accurately more than 4 to 6 hours in advance. You might also remember that NASA completely missed the meteor swarm that hit all over the Earth, Friday and early Saturday. There were more than 36 major fireballs seen from Europe to North America, not just 3, as reported by the lap-dog media. Two more created sonic booms, though none with the force of the one in the Urals of Russia..

There's a great quote from the wonderful movie, Armageddon, with Bruce Willis, Billy-Bob Thornton, and a host of other big name stars. General Kimsey is asking Thornton's character, Truman - who's Mission Director of NASA - why they didn't spot this planet-killing asteroid, the response was,"Well, our object collison budget's a million dollars. That allows us to track about 3% of the sky, and beg'n your pardon sir, but it's a big-ass sky." Since that movie was made, the increase in budget has been eaten up by inflation, so we're still not watching anywhere near 100% of the sky.

So, quit worrying about weatherpeople not being able to predict weather accurately, and start worrying about why the Administration is spending precious NASA funding on making Muslims feel better about space science.

The Presiding Bishop of a once strong and reasonably holy church has revealed herself as an enemy of the Second Amendment. Like so many progressives before her, Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori of what is now called "The Episcopal Church," said to a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee chaired by Dick Durbin, and then later in a letter to her dwindling flocks throughout the United States:

The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) which represents the majority of former Episcopalians does not make political statements. However, the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America, which is what the original Episcopal Diocese in the South Carolina Lowcountry - a diocese which pre-dates the confederation of Episcopal dioceses - continues to call itself, is known to back the FULL Constitution of the United States and prays constantly for our nation.

Some say that the modern Episcopal Church is evil. I cannot say. But I can say, again, that, like so many progressives before her, Ms. Schori has no idea what "shall not be infringed" means. But then, she doesn't know what πορνος (pornos) means, either.

Same old silly lies in the SOTEROSOTU - same old Sotero-worship from the media. Yes, Marco is exciting and Rand is right. I AM surprised that the mainstream media doesn't know that people giving speeches drink water. The Shooter in California may be dead, but definitely is a liberal/progressive, and the LAPD is probably dirty. California is completely broke and chasing their base out of town. Harry Reid is a Jackwagon, and Nancy Pelosi is a recovering mental virgin. The Columbia legislature knows it's losing the trust of the voters in the state, but the Dems are all Obamanuts, so nobody trusts them either, unless they're stupid or ill-informed. School districts have lost all the trust they had 30 years ago, and now, they're just unfair taxing bodies pushing liberal agendas. Gas is back up to super-inflationary levels, but, whatareyagonnado? It's not snowing, because it's just one of those years, like 1989. And you didn't get the present you wanted for Christmas.

Cautiously Optimistic

Between Rubio and Rand the real Republican Party was wincing in the wings. Republicans are cocktail politicos. Both spoke of freedom and self reliance - something the Cocktail Establishmentarian Republicans find repulsive. The really interesting politics, it looks like, will be among the three forces, rising from the ashes of the Burnt Republican bird.. I'm gladdened by the similarity between the TEA partiers and the true Reagan Conservatives. Both Rand Paul and Marco Rubio looked great and spoke wisdom, tonight.

Don't Get Fooled, Again

We have it on very good authority that investment companies loyal to Barack Obama are driving up the prices of stocks on Wall Street, today, prior to the his State of the Union, so that he can talk about a recovering economy. Look carefully at the volume for today's trading. Rather than counting the trading in the Millions, stock is trading in the THOUSANDS. Only the chart looks good. But the push behind this feeble rally is diabolical. And WE will all pay for it, tomorrow or the next day. Only the wolves and the pigs are in the market, today.

Immovable Force

There are times when I have gritted my teeth at some of the things our Senator Lindsey Graham does. You also know that I still support him, because I know he honestly believes what he's doing is the right thing to do. And besides, in all these years, he and I have only disagreed three times.

But THIS is one of the times I'm really glad that I support him. He says he will hold up confirmation of Chuck Hagel as SecDef and John Brennan as CIACinC, until Obama tells what really happened and where he was and why Rice went around lying about Benghazi days later, when he says he knew it was terrorism.

There are many things you can say to the Senator - more if you're actually from South Carolina - but you don't try to punk him, as the current administration has tried to do. Now he's extremely vexed with the Lincolnesque Log in the White House, and he's not going to be put off. Others are starting to join with him, but whether they do or not, Lindsey Graham has power in the Senate - even if he is in the Minority party.

If you care about the lives of those two Seals as well as the rest of the victims, you will back the Senator, too. Let him know it.
 

How Would You Vote, Now?

We were one of the first publications to point out that the Administration was lying, on several levels, about the Benghazi debacle not being an act of terror. Our sources had warned us to be on the lookout for "whoppers" from the Obamarama.

I monitor a lot of radio talk shows and wire reports, and I have to admit, I had not thought of something I heard this week on a local talk show. A former military guy reminded everybody that at the highest levels of government, there are always contingency plans, especially for events which cannot be overseen because they happen so quickly. ALWAYS.

So, where WAS the contingency plan for Benghazi? We know that Obama did not converse with the SecDef after one 30 minute phone call, that night - there was NO follow-up call. The SecState was NOWHERE to be found. And there was "not enough time to put a plan into place," for an event that lasted 8 hours!

In other words, there was no follow-up, there was no SecState, and there was no contingency plan. And that makes Obama a BAD leader. Heck, we STILL haven't heard from the survivors. If the Obamanuts had known the administration had dropped the ball this bad, causing the failure of rescue for six people, including one ambassador and two Navy Seals, would they have voted for Obama, anyway?
 

Only Forty-One

Why is anybody surprised that Carl Rove is chewing on the hiney of the TEA party? For that matter, why is anybody surprised that Fox News didn't renew Dick Morris' contract? As long as conservatives try to make a home in a party ruled by New England cocktail Republicans, they will continue to be punked, used, abused, consumed, and spit out.

If conservatives really are conservative, then they need to form their own party. The TEA party, Reagan libertarians, Reagan Democrats, and anyone interested in preserving the Constitution, should be thinking about joining with them. As it becomes more and more evident that national government screws up almost everything it does, the two Establishment parties, who have controlled things for 150 years, are showing their bones, their avarice, and their lust for power.

Three parties? Why not? If people really believe what they believe, a third party could stand alone when it needs to, and together with the RINOS when it serves their purpose. Even a small party, which it would have to be in the beginning, would be a force to be reckoned with. They would be THE player. Six Senators and 35 Congressman - only 41 people, could change the face of Congress. Surely there are that many true "new party" people. 41 people with honor, Constitutional loyalty, lovers of ALL life, and the values of self reliance.

All it would take is 41 national Representatives and Senators. 41.

A person with a properly sharpened plastic knife and minimal training can kill up to 26 people in 15 seconds, depending on where they are, in an enclosed space. Any person can kill with a knife or shoot anyone in the back, regardless of their protection.

These statistics, give or take a person or a second, is not published anywhere, but is commonly known among martial arts practitioners. The reason is that there will always be acts of murder as acts of insanity. Another reason is that if you take away one weapon, an industrious person, crazy or not, will steal, procure, or invent another. Look at the renaissance in Italy and China.

Even without invention, you can kill up to 200 people in one place with two gallons of gasoline. You can make a bomb out of your own feces, nails, and an excelerant. You can kill up to 15 children in 4" of water, or with a hammer in 10 seconds. You can strangle a person to death with a little training and some paper towels.

The foregoing examples are hideous, but any one of which could actually happen. If you are offended by them, ask yourself why your view of the world is so warped that you do not know such evil exists. It does.

The world is not and cannot become a safe place - that is an equally hideous fantasy, fostered by progressives and liberals. It's not that life cannot be good - it can be. But the world is a dangerous place filled with things and people which can kill you, if you do not take the right precautions. You don't need to add to this disingenuous clutter by denying yourself any ability to protect yourself.

The truth is that we have NEVER, truly, gotten out of the recession. The truth is that almost every economic number out of DC has been revised. The truth is that almost every government estimate of negative growth has been underestimated and every government estimate of positive growth has been overestimated. The truth is that there is crushing inflation in important consumer elements which DC doesn't count.

Now, we are hearing from even more disinformed Democrats that our ruinous debt is "not so bad." One even blamed '43 for the horrendous economic policies of the man from Chicago!

uh-buh-dee - buh-dee - buh-dee - Things're Really Good, Folks!

Democrats truly are in a state of delusion. And it is understandable, because everything they've tried to save the economy has failed. But in any reality, when the inmates run the asylum, no one is safe.
