The Inherent Stupidity of Tax Increases
Progressives just don't stop. And they won't stop until they are defeated so soundly, they will be afraid to run
for fear of the humiliation. Today's example - there will be one tomorrow, you can be sure - is the word
from the Progressives that they won't budge until small business taxes are increased. Oh, they didn't say
that, but that is precisely what they plan for.
They call it a "tax on the rich," but in fact it will affect almost every single working person in America.
Here's how: Even if all they do is increase corporate taxes on the most successful corporations, we will all pay for it
by the increased prices they will charge everybody to make up for their losses to the increased taxes. But that's not all
the Progressives propose.
Anyone who has a successful corporation - a farm, a business with high cash flow but small profits, an investor
who invests money on which he has already paid taxes - all of these people will be taxed at a higher rate.
You may have noted that we have a recession going on. That's where people don't make as much money and so they
don't spend as much. Often, in a recession, people with more resources are the only people who do spend. Often,
we call those people "rich" or "well off." Now, the Progressives want to take away more of those people's money.
What do think will happen then?
Please tell me you see the inherent stupidity of the Progressives' plan to tax the only people who may be keeping
this economy alive? Please?

Phooey!
Being an alumnus of Carolina, I am very disappointed in the way we have been playing. But we can still pull it together
for the rest of the season, if we all focus.
