Halloween - 31, 2010
LA*tti*more. JE*ffreys. Gar*CI*a. Say that a hundred times, really fast. Now say, "Je*kyl*and*Hyde." Now say,"CRA*zy." Three heroes. Two analogies. One direction Carolina fans are being driven. But, yesterday, it was a good kind of crazy.

Halloween - October 29 & 30, 2010
When you are 12, it is a sad time. Especially when that age signifies, traditionally, your last "trick-or-treating."

My last adventure with a bag was absolutely dismal and depressing. I spent most of the time trying to decide if I wanted to even go out. They were having a Halloween party at Crayton Junior High where I went to be humiliated on a daily basis. Maybe my friends would be there, but they were so much richer than I, the chance of them being there was tiny. Finally deciding to give it one more go, I loped over the open lawns, knapsack in hand, dad's old Patton jacket keeping me from the chilly Columbia night.

By the time I had gotten going, half the porch lights had already been extinguished. Nevertheless, I would climb steps after steps in hopes that a hall light in an apartment building meant that goodies were there.

But the real Halloween memory for me was the night - the stuffy pushy night with half sweat half chill making you wish you hadn't bothered to participate in the rite of the pumpkin king. The Moon was a sullen girlfriend, teasing through the silver-tipped bosomy clouds, beautiful, but dangerous - if you paid too much attention to the view, you could fall over and spread your candy all over the paved popcorn road.

On such a night you could actually believe that spirits did walk the earth.. especially so for a 12 year old with a very big imagination.

Oddly, this election season is a lot like that for people who believe in self-reliance. In 2008, so many of us didn't even bother to vote. McCain just didn't cut the mustard, and Obama was saying things that almost everyone, except for those who love control, knew wouldn't work. It was like not wanting to go trick-or-treating, because the thrill was gone.

Now, it's 2010, and we've decided to give it one last try. The opposition is plenty scary. They feign "caring," but we've seen what their "caring" costs us. They offer a ruinous type of security, for which, we have to surrender almost all of our freedoms, except the freedom to die. Ruinous, because it really is unaffordable.

Then, there is the ghost of McCain, conjured up by Lindsey Graham - the spectre that haunts us, whispering the imperative that we must work with a deleterious president and a drunken opposition party which reads no bills and thinks no thoughts.

The only enjoyment will come, if we actually DO go out and vote - and get other people out to the polls so that they can vote. Then, the spirit of the age can be enjoyed and reinforced. Then, can the beauty of freedom be protected against the greedy and dishonest. Then, can self-reliance begin to return this country to the producers and usher out the era of the non-producers.

And since we don't buy or manipulate votes, as the Progressives do, we must gather our strength, one honest vote at a time.

Only if we vote. ONLY. IF. WE. VOTE.

October 28, 2010
25 years ago tonight, my lovely wife gave birth to our only child. After a 1quarter of a century, many adventures, and a whole lot of guessing, I can honestly say that it was worth it.

He is honest, handsome, brilliant, well-spoken, and fairly well educated for his age. I am proud to be the father of this amazing person.

Nevertheless, it is the wee hours of the morning, following his birth that I remember best. My wife worked what we jokingly called "real hours," 9-5, so I got to do the 3am feeding. It was the second - most wonderful time in my life.

Sitting in the dimly-lit nursery, holding my son in my arms, I could feel his soft hair, brushing against my hand, where he had lain his tiny head. As he fed from his bottle, then gently fell asleep as I sang to him, softly, I remember thinking that this was what the mystics must have described as an existential transcendental experience - the true meaning of Zen.

The Honorable William Traxler, Federal Judge Extraordinaire, once told me that children are wonderful and horrible. He was right, of course. Parenthood wasn't always wonderful - no-one can ever describe a full diaper or a phone call at midnight as "wonderful." But barring accidents or transitional occurrences, those wee hours come back to me as friendly ghosts, giving me gentle memories and hinting of miracles beyond this reality.

I refuse to pretend that I did not enjoy those earliest days more than the son who celebrates this fourth year of manhood and this 25th year of life. But that IS life, in all it's irony and symbolism. So, Happy birthday, Son, and, thanks for the memories!

The disgraceful Sheheen Campaign has put fourth outright lies about Nikki Haley. This is South Carolina and that's to be expected from Progressives. There is, however a group of power-hungry people who were Republicans last year, but lost the primary to Nikki. Some of them are in the third congressional district, some in Columbia, and a few in the Lowcountry. They make up the so-called "Conservative Group for Truth in Politics." They are for transparency, they say, and "being able to work with the legislature." One problem: These people are so transparent, you can't find out who these people are. An FOI request will be filled AFTER the election.

The Nikki Haley campaign is fighting the worst power grab since the racist Pitchfork Ben Tillman disenfranchised half of the black population in the State. In the guise of a mild mannered ambulance chaser, Sheheen, tool of these power-hungry former Republicans, wants to coopt a popular movement. The fact is that he can be bought.. and those who now own him will force him to do their bidding. And what do they want? State contracts for various things. More money wasted on state agencies which serve no purpose such as the Education Department. And, of course, some of that discretionary money.

If not, Sheheen will be about as useful as female appendages on a boar hog, and there will be NO cooperation with the legislature. And to be frank, the Governor's power is limited. But he can very much stand in the way of tort reform which is desperately needed.

On the other hand, you know that Haley will VETO anything that even looks like stupid spending.. and there will be a lot of that, you can count on it.. looking at the re-election probability of so many spendthrifts from last legislative session.

Let's be honest, here. Nikki Haley is not perfect. But she IS as good as her word, and has been for several years. What she is not is dishonest. She pays her taxes late, because the people who pay her are often late, but she has to declare it in THAT year. She has NEVER broken the tax law. Period. And pay her taxes, she does, unlike many of those power-hungry former Republicans. Who want shelter from Sheheen.

The powerful are hopeful, but their hopes can be dashed if you vote for Nikki.

The National Progressives have already begun cheating, too, in the 2010 Election. In Nevada, New Jersey, even the Comedy Channel Union members and media elites, even comedy giants are letting Obama and the Progressives get away with all but murder.

From tinkering with voting machines, to harassing voters, to breaking campaign laws desperate Progressives are fluttering like quail flushed by a pointer. Even John Stewart is breaking the part of the McCain-Feingold law that speaks to favoritism by interviewing Obama. Were he a true news organization, he would not be. But because his is an Entertainment outlet, he, literally is peddling influence. Fortunately, not many that many people will be watching. And, yes, NBC/GE owns the Comedy Channel, and it's humor is puerile, appealing mostly to couch potatoes and wastoids who don't vote, or young adults who don't vote for Progressives.

Those of us who want to fill the voting booths with independents and eleutherians need a plan for election day. Let me Suggest one. Please feel free to pass it on.

    1. Know who votes in your neighborhood.
    2. If they are folks who can be persuaded, persuade them.
    3. Make sure they have a ride to the polls.
    4. Bring lawn chairs.
    5. Don't let them be intimidated.. by anybody..
    6. Don't forget to vote, yourself.

October 25, 2010
After the election, the REAL work begins. Just when those of us who want to see less government are ready to take a break, the hardest work will just begin. We need to make sure that those who got our votes will do what we wanted them to do:
    1. Not just FREEZE the size of government, but REDUCE it.
    2. Take the TARP money back.
    3. First de-fund, then de-claw, then undo the Obamacare Health travesty.
    4. Find workable solutions to entitlement payments - grandfathering, for one.
    5. Restore the military to the military.
    6. Reduce the number of intelligence agencies & fire the political patsies.
    7. Lower taxes for everyone, except those who pay no tax, but make everyone pay some tax, and spend the tax on infrastructure only.
    8. Work every day to defeat a 2012 Presidential candidacy by ANY Progressive or liberal or progressive.

I'm not saying this to dishearten you. I'm just trying to remind you that once we win when you vote, we cannot afford to lose our focus. Never again. Never.

Oh, One More Thing.. Please watch Stossel this week. He can be seen on Fox Business News. This week, he pays out the problem with "directed government planning."

There are people, in this state, right now, who think they know better than you do about how the state is going to "progress." They want people to make higher wages - not be more productive in order to earn more money, just higher wages. That's completely inflationary, and it makes our cost of living go up. It appears as if they just want to make it so expensive to live that people in trailers will leave. The problem is this is a dumb thing to do. Bubba needs to rise with Muffy. Anything else is arrogant and sinful.

October 24, 2010
Fairness of Fox. Throughout the history of America, there has always been one, abiding theme which has divided the hacks from the journalists. Facts are facts and opinion is opinion. Fox does that. NPR does not.

What're FACTS? Facts are that Progressives are getting slightly more money from organizations with leftist tendencies. Opinion is that it's polarizing. Facts are that pollsters use formulae which are questionable, scientifically speaking. Opinion is how their polls are interpreted. If a reporter or pundit labels a piece fact, then it should not be her or his opinion. Simple as that.

Facts are that Juan Williams was fired for giving an opinion AS an opinion. He broke no then written rule of NPR policy. Whatever else you may think, whatever else you may hear, those are the facts. That NPR has decided to enforce the UNwritten rules UNevenly is also a fact.

As a South Carolinian, who believes in the principle of "Hire at Will," I see the entire argument as ridiculous. NPR, in this State, would have to live by the contract they signed with Juan. Were there no contract, they could hire and fire at will. The rest is contract law.

Perhaps by this show of employment and support from Fox, Juan will learn who the real "Good Guys" are.

Logically, is there any fact which repudiates the apparent facts that show NPR an untrustworthy organization? They are certainly not fair and apparently they are unbalanced. Perhaps - and this is my opinion - they should take their own advice and seek professional help.

October 22, 2010
In case you haven't noticed.. and if you're a Progressive, you don't want to be reminded of this, but gas prices are back up - 20¢. For people with big tanks that take 50 gallons, that's an extra $10. TEN DOLLARS!!!! That's an 18% rise the price of gasoline. But that's not all.. South Carolina grocery prices have increase over 20%.

The surprise? Neither of these absolute necessities is counted in the government grab-bag of items which determine the extent of inflation. To keep it simple, just remember this - what we are experiencing is Stagflation, just like Jimmy Carter caused back in the '70s. But the Ruling Class wants us to think things haven't been so awful.. If we had been allowed to drill by (as Rush & Sean call it) the Ruling Class back in the Clinton administration, had W been more interested in a drilling agenda rather than trying to get along with a wickedly spendthrift Congress, had the current rulers had a coherent drilling plan other than "don't do that right now," this would not happen.

I TOLD YOU THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!
I told you months and months ago. Now, Investors Business Daily reports that GM's "all-electric" Chevy Volt car isn't all-electric.

This is not to say that there are no fast cars, with long-lasting batteries. Just look at this beautiful Tesla which goes 120mph

for 245 miles per charge, with a general charge time (240V@50amps-$5per charge) is about 3.5 hours - and soon (there's a royalty fight), as little as 15 minutes! What it does say is that, as I wrote much earlier, Government Motors is just trying to fool you the way their lecherous union fooled the country.

If you're rich, you can buy this beauty for 90 large. The irony is that it only costs $0.02/mi to run - the Tesla, that is. If you don't have to buy batteries for 10 years, which is plausible, you will spend less total money on this car than the Toyota Yaris over the same period, which will barely last 10 years!

Just sayin'.

Juan Williams has been fired. Not from Fox as you may have suspected, because of his liberal views, but from NPR. NPR! Why was he fired? Because he said that when he sees a muslim in full Sharia dress, it makes him think twice. That's it.

National Public Radio has been, for years, THE liberal outlet. Juan Williams has been their best spokesman. He is a GOOD GUY and a GOOD analyst. He's intellectually honest. This kind of PC is absolutely absurd and unforgiveable.

NPR's knee-jerk reaction is exactly what they say they would expect from Fox. Remember when we talked about "liberal transference psychosis?" Perfect example.

Those of us on the right have been correct all along about NPR. As of right now, I will be boycotting ANYTHING NPR does. We did learn, though that NPR thinks they have an ethics code, though how it shows in their work is still a matter of some contention.

October 20, 2010
I know two things..
1. Big samples mean more accurate polling.
2. Polling companies want to get hired, next time around.

That doesn't mean that the latter means that they will adhere to the former in order to achieve the latter. In fact, it generally means that polling companies will hold off doing number one so that they can produce a lot more number two.

October 19, 2010
Our friends at Charlotte's best paper,
say that a lot of white guys are voting early. Is this a sign of racism? Hardly. At least, not on the side of the white males. You don't have be a racist in order to know that a politician like Obama is completely wrong-headed. A lot of white guys also own a proportionally larger number of small businesses than any other race or gender. But they are fast being caught up with by legal hispanics and orientals. Good. Because it seems these dudes are ALSO voting early - AND CONSERVATIVELY.

You could not have missed the fact that Barack Obama held a fund raiser, over the weekend, at the palacial home of one of the bigger hosptial executives in the Northeast. No why do you think this obvious support for Obama happened?

Remember when I warned about fascism? Big business with either government or monopolistic protection makes Hospitals happy - after all, they've been playing Robin Hood for60 years. The gig is perfect for the Current Resident of the Whitehouse. They are the ones who will administer this devious monstrosity called Obamacare. They LOVE him.

October 18, 2010
Sheheen's ads against Haley came out this weekend. There are so many half truths in it and it's all negative. Shameless.

Fortunately for Nikki, Sheheen is on record calling the Upstate denizens - aka Tea Partiers - a bunch of lunatics. Wanna bet he's having a large number of upstate doors being closed in his face, very politely.

Something very odd has happened and it involves TurboTax for the past few years. I'll tell you all about it soon. Find out how avoiding this software this taxtime may save you hundreds.

October 17, 2010
AAAaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhh! Why do we suspect boys who practice in blazing heat to do well in nose-freezing cold? Last year, we waited until the last quarter to get it together. Now we wait until the last quarter to completely fall apart. Of course Kentucky plays to hurt as well as to win. Of course the refs are lousy. One last note on the Kentucky win over Carolina - half of winning is knowing, completely what is expected of you. We looked like rookies in the last half.

What do Carolina, a cold breakfast cereal, and a bowl have in common?

October 16, 2010
Inflation - the Current Resident of the Whithouse says we don't have any. Apparently the "new" basket of goods has worked well for them. Without energy or food in the mix, they really have no idea that inflation is a real problem for the rest of us (that's everybody else in America), or what caused it.

Let's see now.. since Obama and family's meals are catered every time and he doesn't pay for his own gas, why should he care? Why should any of the people in Washington care? Is Rush Limbaugh right when he calls them, RINOs and Progressives, "The Ruling Class?" I believe he has every logical reason to say so. Even if these pezzonovanti are doing this out of some misguided attempt at doing good, even then, it is not their place to do so.

When Bill Clinton was being prosecuted for various crimes and misdemeanors, the Progressives reminded us that we are a country of Laws and not of Men, so Republicans punted. Today, the Progressives want to bury that concept, so they can control each American in a way far worse than the chains of punishment. They want to fulfill the nightmare of de Toqueville, because it will give them unspeakable power.

Stagflation is already occurring. The Ruling Class is lying. If you are one of those who would have it otherwise, you must stay focused - and bring another voter with you to the polls.

October 15, 2010
Who to vote for - Education Secretary - NOBODY! Seriously. Not one single candidate really knows that we need a NEW system.

I like Frank Holleman, personally, but if you think a Progressive can fix his own warm milk at night, you're fooling yourself. Maybe, if he were running as an Independent or a Republican, but he's been trying to run for something now for thirty years with no luck. He also doesn't have any ideas that will actually solve the problem. Remember, too, he is a PRODUCT of our crappy public system, so he doesn't know any better.

Nor does Nick Zais, the Republican. You'd think the president of a college would know something about the failure of pedagogical education, especially since the ideas of the late fifties have failed so elequently - just look at what we have now! English teachers who don't know grammar, science teachers teaching global warming, State history lost in white guilt and irrelevant smarmisms, math teachers who don't know what a whole world thinker is or how his brain works - you get the picture.

Doretha Bull - Green Party - is a snake dressed in wolf's clothing. Tony Fayyazi calls himself an educator, but his party (Independence) ought to be called the "Road Kill" Party - it's all populist rhetoric and failed middle of the road ideas.

Tim Moultrie, the Libertarian, is also running, but his track record is worse than Frank's. Unless Tim has eschewed the Libertarian education line, he just wants to end it all. That's not an answer.

The fact is that the State Superintendent of Education is a position which has no worth. They can spend our tax money, but they have no real ability to change what's wrong. Nobody listens to the Sup.

What to do?

I'm going to write in my dead Grandfather. Orin F. Crow was the last educator in this state who presided over a good education system - a system he developed at USC - the University System (sometimes called the University High School System). When they replaced his teaching with the stuff we have now, his supporters said it wouldn't work, but were ignored as "fuddy-duddies." Well, the "new" stuff didn't work, did it?

Grandaddy Orin's system did. Vote for him. He may not be able to show up for work, but using his ideas, one thing is sure - education will get better and he WILL NOT CHANGE.

October 14, 2010
I'm sitting here, trying to figure out how to write this extremely important article.

I don't want to appear nuts, because, all kidding aside, I'm not. I don't want to appear bitter for the same kind of reason. Likewise, do I not want to seem sarcastic. And, of course, no-one wants to appear naive. Nevertheless, here goes..

If journalism is about truth, and not agenda, how do you think many of this State's news organizations justify their existence? I honestly don't know. I DO know that many of them consciously run hit pieces on candidates with no rebuttal. You know it, too, and, as I do, usually make a mental note to yourself to do something about it. But, then, time passes and our best intentions get lost in the mist. And the offending news organizations get away with it.

When I learned the "news biz" from Red Evans in Charleston, God rest his sweet soul, one of the important lessons was that you were going to get fired - it was only a matter of time. You were going to get fired because your were going to have to report on something bad that someone who was a friend of the management was doing. It was a matter of survival - you either reported whatever it was and lost your job, or ate the story and survived. Worse, you refused a direct order to "change" a story, and you not only got fired, you got buried in the minors - forever. Had I not had more pull, that might have happened.

The point is that this sort of thing is a living, breathing, reality in a lot of South Carolina newsrooms. At some point, the six o'clock news or the Front Page section of the paper is compromised. It happens. It's happened with Nikki Haley's campaign. Good people like Rick Mahler, supremely qualified to be one of our State's representatives in Washington, but you'll never know that, because he has no money or powerful people behind him. And Nikki? Well she's been fighting the big wigs in this state for years. 'Nuff said.

This is why we, here at SwampfoxNews.com don't take advertising. If you see something that looks like an ad, it's not paid for. That's, NOT paid for - just another type of editorial - and from what we hear, pretty darned effective. We also CLEARLY mark our opinions, here. That's what we do.

What can YOU do? Well, don't trust most of what you read or see, right now. But, if by chance, the AP is taken over by Roger Ailes, then you can start trusting them, again. Otherwise, be very, very skeptical. At least until the election is over.

October 11, 2010
Ganging up on Nikki.. Every large newspaper in the state is an outlet for the Associated Press. For that reason, alone, we need to be wary of headlines over the next three weeks. The AP is the willing tool of the party of Current Resident of the Whitehouse. There have been many instances over the past four years to prove it. Ever since Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid took power from ordinary Americans, the AP has been looking the other way and purposefully running stories which were political attacks against the Right. Here in the Palmetto State, most newscasters were wary of AP from their history of shooting first and asking questions later. There was a time, in the 90's when it was mostly rumor and very little followup. AP is only slightly more accurate, today.

But you are not dreaming, if you think your local paper is running more than the normal amount of Felgekarb about Nikki Haley. Remember, there is a very old tie between the TV Sheheens (guess whose Grandaddy) and the Associated Press in South Carolina. Sure enough, we get a story, about every five days or so, about some weak factoid. They make it sound like something awful, but it's usually something inconsequential.

Example: Nikki Haley left a job where she wasn't happy. How did they run it? "Haley Left Job Under a Cloud" . . ! Well Sheheen has sued and ruined people's lives because of the obscene Trial Laws in this state. Did you see that in ANY paper? Do you really think you will?

Now if you're one of the 20 or so fabulously powerful people in the state, then Nikki is not your gal. She aims to end your reign. What really scares the pezzonovante, though, is that Nikki WILL work with the legislature to get things right. She knows how to hold up a mirror. She knows how to make changes without throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Mostly, she knows how to exclude the Big-Shots. Who has the most to lose?

It's three weeks from today. Stay Focused!

October 10, 2010
This is what happens when you want to win. Garcia WANTED to win last night. So, South Carolina won. No matter how many Lattimores and Jeffreys

Carolina 35   Alabama 21

the Gamecocks have (and their performances have been Herculean, to say the least), if the QB doesn't deliver, there is no win.

I have no idea why Garcia threw the ball away over his own goal post. Everybody has panic times, when we just do stuff - no reason. That had to have been his "panic time." Nevertheless, he recovered like a pro, and went on to throw intricate passes - 9 for 9 - as the Gamecocks plastered the Crimson Tide.

Make no mistake about it: Garcia, Lattimore, and Jeffreys have escorted Carolina into the winner's circle of the SEC. The team is not perfect, but it can be great. And they can be great, because the WANT to win. (See Oct 9)

Please note, that the Alabama coach, after the game, attributed the win to Carolina, not Alabama's mistakes, many of which were CAUSED by the superior Gamecock defense. Regardless of what the know-nothing sportscasters may say, South Carolina WON that game.

About the banks stopping foreclosures. Most of the foreclosures are ligit, but this is going to create another opportunity for the Progs to soak the taxpayers. As Greg Gutfeld says, "Government started the problem in 2006. Now they're going to investigate the problem. Guess what the result will be?"

"WATERBUGS." That's what Gen. Jim Jones is said to have called the White House Henchmen. But isn't that, really, how ALL the doomed Progressives are acting? There seems to be a great deal of zipping about, like waterbugs on a calm lake, trying to stir up dirt against Republicans that, simply, is not there. That doesn't mean some people don't believe all the calumny, especially the Progressive's half-truths. Nikki Haley, for instance, may not have lost any momentum as the recent Progressive-backed "survey" proclaimed.

Another example is the casting call for the Philadelphia Obama speech, today. Probably, the most disingenuous of all the latest political theatre, this rally will hope to reinvigorate their desperately sagging polls. The Ruling Class's Media will cover it wall-to-wall as the "Second Coming." But look closely.. It's just waterbugs.. zipping around.. looking busy..

Another is the Big Lie put out today by the Washington Post poll. What people really want is to get their money back.. and that means the Trillions of Dollars put into Washington's ponsy-schemes, by everyday Americans. THAT's what their poll shows, NOT that they want government to give them MORE services. Waterbugs..

October 09, 2010
About the Alabama-Carolina game. Once upon a time, South Carolina had another storied football coach, Rex Enright. South Carolina was playing at Army. In those days, you took a bus and it was just the coach, an assistant coach, the trainer, the boys, and one lucky doctor, on the road.

It is one of my favorite memories - I had gone with Dad, who was the equivalent to an assistant athletic director at Carolina, to Hank Bartos's (another coach) house. Weems Baskin was there, too, and my Godfather, Reg Wilson. They drank a soldier's portion and smoked cigars and Camels and Lucky Strikes and cussed. It was wonderful!

But, a pall was cast over this meeting of heroes. South Carolina had played hard, but was down by almost three touchdowns. There were only 3 or so minutes left in the fourth quarter. This Gamecock team, however, wanted to win, and so, as the clock ticked, they made touchdown after touchdown.

21 unanswered points.

I have never seen so many grown men pray so hard before, or again, in my life. I don't remember whether Carolina caused a safety as well. All I remember is listening to the radio and being amazed and watching grown men slap each other on the back, as if each man's wife had given birth to Dwight David Eisenhower. Ask Bob Fulton, he remembers.

Today, we play Alabama. We're still Carolina and that means we CAN win. The only question is the same one we answered over 50 years ago..

Glenn Beck may have Type 2 Diabetes, if my guess is right. I hope it's not true, but he's suffering from a number of peripheral neuropathological symptoms - numb fingertips and toes, vocal chords becoming de-sensitized, other stuff - all of these have a simple explanation. Diabetes II is a terrible and insidious disease, which shows up in people under tremendous stress. He's a recovering alcoholic and some very jealous people have said some very nasty things about him. Also, he has been dealing with terminal fame for only a very short time - VERY stressful. Being tubby is what a lot of lazy doctors THINK causes it, but research is getting a much clearer view. If they're right, a lot of charlatans who parade around as diabetic dieticians are going to go hungry until they can convince some other lazy doctor to use their services. But back to Beck.

It is important that Glenn get this fixed as soon as possible. Can you imagine what will happen to the Tea Party movement if he is seen in any way as mentally impaired? A lot of people, including me, depend on him to be truthful. Progressives eat their own children. Do you think they would let this go, especially as desperate as they are now?

I'm praying that the evil forces will be deflected from Glenn Beck, that Glenn will pull through. I will hope for healing, but trust that it will be something manageable, like Diabetes II. In any case, I hope that the humans around him will do God's will toward him.

I also hope that, if he does have Diabetes, that he is one of the majority of Type II sufferers who can take Avandia. Some cannot. I use it in a compound with Metformin called Avandamet. I take it with Glipizide, and I've been on the same treatment, same strength, for years. My heart is just fine, thank you. I hope, for both our sakes, that the stupid F&D Administration doesn't take it off the market. But with the current folks in the Emperor's seat, whatever gives them power is what they will do, regardless of whom it hurts.

October 08, 2010
Did you expect the Progressives to roll over? They have already begun a simple, but insidious attack on the Tea Partiers. They are saying, at every on-air chance, that the Tea Party movement is being funded by "big-wigs" and "fat-cats." While those in the movement know that, in the last few days, very scared big businesses have joined the Tea Party movement, they know that these folks are johnny-come-latelies, and not founders or substantial funders of the movement.

No matter how bad it gets here, in the Palmetto State (and by the way, it's pronounced PAL-Met-oh, like "My Pal Joey," NOT PALL-Met-oh, as in "a pall fell over the room."), at least, we're not Chicago. Did they take the opportunity to scale back their spending on social programs and union buy-offs? Nope. But now, it looks like the feds aren't going to completely bail them out with our tax money. Not the Billions they've spent. Maybe a few millions. If they don't cut back, soon, they are doomed.

Much better than Cahleeforneeyah. When our people lie to us, it's more about interpretation of why public housing is important. Those poor people on the left coast just found out their people lied to them about Global Warming. Even now, their EPA continues to lie, saying their 340% OVERESTIMATION was because of bad equipment, not their nefarious concepts. Like I said. It's better here. Our Global Warmers may not be apologizing, but they ARE being ignored. Hooray!

Jerry Brown, calling Meg Whitman a Ho, is no big deal. He's a Progressive. It's what they do.What makes it outrageous is that, coming from the lips of the spokesman of the original sellout Party, is wonderfully ironic.

Isn't a stone a deadly weapon? So, isn't throwing a stone a deadly action? Which action is more deadly: Throwing a stone on purpose or hitting a couple of kids with your car, by accident, while they are trying to stone you? Is this rocket science, or just more Palestinian Bullesgeschichte?

We've been provided with the entire slide show from the foolish Duke student. We're not going to publish it, for two reasons: The most important reason is that it serves no purpose - if you're THAT prurient, then waste your time on another website. Number two reason is that it's not the original, it's redacted. That means it's no longer news, but rotogravure, which is fine, but I like my own cartooning, better.

I would, however like to make the comment that this was not done for actual credit. But it does have the same research techniques as those used in the proof papers of Man-Made Global Warming. And equally pornographic.

The Progressives Keep Trying to Smear Nikki Haley. A so-called "unbiased" poll shows Nikki Haley still comfortably ahead of trial lawyer opponent, but a little less than before. The problem is that the numbers come from a Progressive polling group.

We're supposed to believe it's not complete hogwash because they're not working for any specific candidate. Really? How does THAT work?

Remember a Progressive GOVERNOR WILL HELP GERRYMANDER ANOTHER TEN YEARS FOR THE PHONEY, RACIST JIM CLYBURN CORRIDOR OF SHAME!

HOW STUPID IS AG HOLDER??? My sources close to the AG Office tell me that he meant to hold the current Terrorist trial in NYC so that he could strut around, telling everyone, "See, we can have trials in America, we don't need Guantanimo."

Well, now, he's REALLY screwed up. Because they are trying this filth in the States in a civilian court, the primary witness's evidence has been thrown out because it was revealed under torture - something that would not have happened in an Ex-Compania military styled trial. When will Progressives learn that their ideas don't work? WHEN? Now, there is a really good chance that this vermin, this murderer, will be let go.

With this SNAFU and the recent revelations about the racist character of the AG's Civil Rights Division, it's becoming patently clear that their head fool needs to go. And to think these "people" actually taught college! It's embarrassing.

Snicker! The Silver Fox from Georgia has done it again. Newt sent messages to us and his other friends in the media and his Republican Fellows saying that they should hang the 41 million food stamp recipients around the neck of the failed Progressive "jobs stimulus." Nancy Pelosi's hipshot reaction was as weak as it was worthless. But, you know.. Pelosi has nothing left, and she's just a bully, and not smart. Fun!

Anyone who thinks online voting is a good idea should take a good, long look at the DeeCee online project. According to Mike DeBonis, of the Washington Post,
the system got hacked, so that each person voting would hear the University of Michigan fight song, "Hail to the Victors," after each vote...

DeBonis makes a very valid point, which was echoed by Jeremy Epstein, a computer scientist working with the Common Cause project. The embedding of the UM fight song shows that the hacker could have changed anything he wanted to. It also shows that when you tell a college computer student to try to hack something this important - as a project for the college - you get what you asked for.

The moral of this story is simple: you can't vote online, yet. Not safely.

The proposed Ground Zero mosque looks like it was designed by a highschool project builder from 1960's Columbia! I'm thinking the fabulously successful firm of Lyles, Bisset, Carlysle, and Wolfe. Anyway, look at the picture carefully. There are hundreds of unintentional stars of David - the Mogen Dovid - intimate within the design. No Kidding. Here's a picture to titter over:

Also, The Supremes threw out South Carolina's countersuit over the use of the "SC" baseball logo. This means that Southern Cal, which has already, unjustifiably, claimed the use of "USC,"

and North Carolina, which continues to call itself "Carolina," in spite of the fact that the University of South Carolina offers world-class educations in many fields, too, have basically cut us out of the cheeky, non-naughty, clever names. And don't you know that the term "Gamecock" is too big for a hat, but some high school will beat us out of the trademark for that, too! Have we even bothered to obtain a trademark or even a salesmark? We copyrighted the formal logo, which is good, but copyrighting and trademarking are two totally different things. I'll just remind all us chickens that the Tigers took care of all of that, long time ago.. maybe it's because Clemson is so close to the capitalist cities of Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg. Carolina is in Columbia, on the other hand, which is in the middle of never-never land.

May 6th, there was a "flash crash" on wall street. The Dow dived 1,000 points, on tiny volume and a whole bunch of people got scared. The volume buyers, sometimes called "the little guys" had gotten out days before, but those who had not, got out then. Friday, the SEC announced the had found the one order that caused it all.

If you'll remember, I predicted it would be one person, and joked that the person might be someone connected to George Sorros, who, in an ironically, comedic sense, seems to use his personal fortune of billions to destroy the free nature of America. Well, the SEC knows who the person is, but are refusing to tell us whom. Since the deed effected so much of the country's money and psyche, and since the person did not break the law, the least we should know is the person's name. Trades are not protected by any privacy rights. Every trade should be in the public domain.

One thing is sure. It is only the power of politics that's keeping this name from the public. Frankly, I think the feds are trying to tie the trade to a lesser known person, but can't find an honest way to do it. If this is about privacy, then the feds are breaking their own rules by refusing to give out the name.

WoW! Rand Paul is so much sharper than his opposition! It's not that his Kentucky Progressive opponent is stupid, Jack Conway is just not as sharp as Rand. His idea of good world is a federal cop in every home toilet. Rand Paul is not saying that reform is easy, it just should not be larcenous.

What happens when you have a leader who can't commit troops because he doesn't believe in fighting? You get the stalemate in Pakistan.
They won't open their border so we can resupply the NATO troops near the border.

Our leader thinks it's better to send drones than trust the Pakistanis. Yes, they aren't the friends we'd like to have, but they are the friends we've got. And they can't stand another US drone miss and kill-count.

Don't kid yourself, this Pakistan mess is the result of some really bad foreign AND domestic policy on the part of the Current Resident of the Whitehouse.

We have a leader who doesn't understand the dynamic of war, much less the dynamic of the economy. And he's ruining a relationship with one of America's best allies in the Mideast. It's no wonder the rats are leaving the ship. He may have gotten all his stuff passed, but all of it is going to come crashing down on his head, starting right now, in Pakistan. And those who supported him will become targets politically, and militarily.

He gives speeches saying, don't give the keys back to folks who do things the old way. Well, you take the keys from a drunk, and you take the keys from a reckless driver. You take the keys away from someone who has no license, too. And, it's time.

We're not just voting for the party of "no." We're voting for the party of "no mo'." No mo' cowardice, no mo' stupidity, no mo' arrogance, no mo' theft, no mo' lies, and no mo' fascism!

It's less than a month before the election. Hope you registered to vote.

October 02, 2010
Today is the deadline to register to vote. Most registration places exist, physically, in the hearts of Progressive urban strongholds, and are already closed for the week. However, you can still get a valid registration form, online, and mail it before midnight, tonight, in order to qualify. IF you voted in the last two years, you should be registered, already. Check anyway.

Saw the Mob on the Mall, today. It's a real tribute to the unions and race-baiters to get that many members out, but their bosses would have treated them roughly, had they not showed up. Crowd was mighty thin, though, compared to the Beck thing.

Their message? Jealousy, class envy, taking money from people and giving it to other people. Something called "Fairness," which is so subjective, it isn't even used in college logic courses.

Make no mistake about it - as disoriented and confused as the people at the mall looked, they are organized, and the enemy of anyone who believes in America as the home of individual freedom. They are the jealous old North of 1843. They are the hate-filled Bolsheviks of 1917. They are the people who have depended on others for their success and have, subsequently, reaped the whirlwind. Now, they want you to pay for their error. They use children and education as their shields, but their sword is theft and laziness.

In case anybody actually believed the Progressives when they lied about not funding abortions in the new health bill. They're funded.

Looks like Meg Whitman did her due diligence. The illegal lied about her status, then hid the form from Whitman after Whitman's husband had given it to the illegal maid to clear up. He even wrote a note which Whitman never got to read. And yes, once again, Gloria Allred has shown herself to be a self-promoting putz and Progressive tool.

Remember when we told you that Progressives would lie and lie, because they don't have anything to run on and so much to run away from?

Oil Trucks bombed in Shikarpur, Pakistan! What the article doesn't say is that these trucks were acting like a train! They traveled together in a wagon train. Stopped together. Were bombed together.

Oil Trucks bombed in Shikarpur, Pakistan

The fact is, they don't have enough bombs to get every truck, IF they don't act like a train. But they're sitting ducks unless they act like trucks!

The Committee for Truth in Politics needs to answer some very important questions such as, "Why do you good ole boys from Columbia and the Upstate hide behind a shill from the Holy City, when you've struck a deal with Sheheen's people to share power in the Capitol?" And to be completely petty, Cyndi Mosteller, the pr flak for the group, needs a different lipstick. Brown with black liner just doesn't look the same on TV as it does in person.

You know, Nikki isn't perfect, but I can remember her talking the talk and walking the walk of conservatism four years ago, when Sheheen was busy farting around as a trial lawyer, running up insurance costs for honest businesses and individuals. But, hey, that's what a trial lawyer does. Do you actually think we're going to get legal reform with that man in the Gov's office. Mungo think not. Meanwhile, Nikki Haley has been trying to get people to wake up. But it's important to understand that this Thai Shadow Theatre has a sinister back-story. The old power - the old order - the old guys - are losing their grip on the power in this state. Up to now, regardless of party, these guys pretty much got what they wanted in the State, politically. If Nikki gets in, and it looks pretty darn good from here, there's a very good chance a lot of that power will either be muted or moot.

The other question is, "Now that the old power guys are supporting a 512B political group, don't we get to know their names and addresses, or will the Committee for Truth in Politics hide their names in violation of the State and federal electioneering rules?"
