NOT RED, NOT BLUE
(June 30, 2014) South Carolina isn't a "Red" state or even a Conservative state. It's a multi-oligarchy (see below) and has been since 1607. It's politically no different from a small European dutchy. It's not a plutarchy, either, although our government does want to be one from time to time.
Don't get me wrong - I love this state. But one survives here and advances by cultivating and supporting one's friends. Most of the people who think they know about politics in this state are just wrong. This state is about the power of friends, and the oligarchs remaining in their positions of power. The one difference is that there isn't one group of oligarchs, and if you can gather together enough friends with money, your group can be its own oligarchy.
Consider the drug prosecution against Thomas Ravenel, which was, arguably, a statewide bi-partisan event. Thomas was already the State Treasurer, a position which was bitterly contested in both the Republican Primary and the general election. Common people - people such as you and I - supported him. One of the reasons the people of the state supported him was because he came with few strings attached. That was also his political weakness.
What I am about to say cannot be proven, because it would "out" various collaborators, and I would lose 50% of my sources, minimum. So, if you want absolute proof, stop reading, now. The rest of you can humor me.
Thomas Ravenel was guilty of giving drugs, the elite in this state frown on, as party favors to his friends. What he did not do, and what he was initially charged with, was selling anything illicit to anyone. But it was enough for his political enemies, GOP and Democrat, to conspire with the Obama administration's Justice Department and Eric Holder to "punish" him. And for once, this conjunction of important constellations came together in a win.
The problem is that Thomas was guilty only of doing what many in Charleston were doing, when it came to marijuana and cocaine. Lately, he has also been "guilty" of dating younger ladies, some from the College of Charleston - something almost EVERY successful heterosexual Charleston male over 35 does - and has done since God was a boy! Few stars in heavenly crowns for chastity will be handed out in the Holy City, when the last trumpet blows. Thomas, however, is SINGLE, so it's no big deal - a trait that many Democrat and Republican sugar daddies do not possess. But Ravenel did it on a Cable TV show, which for many older oligarchs is not cool.
|
Not the only sugar baby in Charleston. And there are
plenty of sugar daddies. It's almost a badge of success in the Holy City.
|
As I have been reminded by my friends and critics lately, times are changing, and drugs, they tell me, should be considered a matter of a citizen's free will and not a matter of law. All of that is well and good, and, in fact, I pretty much agree with that view. But Thomas did break a simple possession law, and did it in front of a witness who turned out not to be a friend.
Now, Thomas Ravenel, the man who has walked away from many of the politically powerful, who were his enemies, anyway, is seeking an independent candidacy for the Senate from South Carolina. To put it plainly, Thomas is running against Lindsey. Those who favor Lindsey are looking past the number of times he has said one thing and done another. Those who favor Thomas, who are not libertarians, will have to look past his political conviction and his anti-establishment attitude which he broadly showed in his recent TV adventures.
I will be waiting and observing to see if the cable gambit for name recognition worked, and if it didn't anger too many women, as it did my sweet wife from Union. This could well be a "battle royale" between ages, political philosophies, vast fortunes, and political giants in this multi-oligarchy we call South Carolina.
ABOVE THE LAW. BELOW DECENCY
(June 29, 2014) Our President is supposedly a "Constitutional Professor." This
means that he is supposed to know what the Constitution says. A most unfortunate supposition for those
who believe in him. He should know that when he crosses the line, he should face conviction on impeachment.
But an impeachment conviction will not happen prior to January of 2015. That's because
the House impeaches, but the Senate convicts. The current Senate is below any measure of proper decency,
and will remain so as long as Harry Reid runs it. So until the New Congress is sworn in, our President is
above the law.
He is also above the law as long as Eric Holder is the chief policeman of our
country. Between the President and the Attorney General, no law is sacred and no person is safe. When
a single man or any group of men can decide which laws to enforce and which laws to ignore, laws
are worthless and rectitude of governance is suborned.

Militias are not just constitutional. They
are a necessary edition to the internal self-preservation of our country. The event at the
border is a perfect example.
|
There are times like these that the Second Amendment has its greatest moral significance,
and when a well regulated [properly armed and trained] militia is most necessary. When the government refuses to
do its job, then its job must be done by those of us who volunteer to do so. The best example of
this is the gathering at our southern border.
Presidential Diktat and disastrously unenlightened Latin-American foreign policy has
forced the regular enforcers at the border to be no more than nursemaids and babysitters, while criminals,
thugs, and illegal diseased children are ESCORTED into our country. The Declaration of Independence
and the Bill of Rights explicitly tell law abiding citizens what to do: We have the moral and legal right
to defend ourselves WITH FORCE from foreign invasion.
I got a real kick out of reading neo-con reaction in Breitbart and Newsmax to
the militias who are showing up. Yes, they may not be able to block off but five miles of a much
larger border, but they have a right to do it. Yes, there may be a couple of frustrated crazies in
their midst, but most are sober, serious lovers of America and the Constitution. Historically independent,
volunteer militias didn't just play an important role in South Carolina during the Revolution of 1776-1783,
they also often kept the peace between indians and settlers in the Upstate.

Volunteer militias were remembered this weekend at Roebuck
in Spartanburg County. These fusiliers are from the South Carolina Independent Rangers reenactment group.
|
And if they are fired upon by the Drug Thugs, Coyotes, or La Guárdia Federál de Méjico?
Well, the militia, at least, will fire back. If Mexico wishes to make an issue of it, they can speak
to the President - if he's not on the golf course or vacationing in some country garden.
There is one other possibility - that Obama will use this opportunity to have the citizen militias
fired on by National Guardsmen. Don't think for a moment that if it proved to be politically popular, he wouldn't do it in
a smidgen of a minute.
LIBERAL OF THE WEEK
(June 27, 2014) All puppies and most cats - regardless of age -
are liberals. They expect to be taken care of from cradle to grave.
The recent elections have surprised many liberals. To get
what they want, they've had to vote for RINOs.

I'm still feeling dizzy! I just voted Republican!

REV. JONES, HERE'S YOUR $10K. HAVE A
NICE WALK AROUND..
(June 26, 2014) Laura Ingraham and her talk-show guest, American
Spectator Editor John Fund, both had sources that the Cochran campaign spread copious
walkin'-around money and were able to increase the "black Mississippi Republican vote"
by 40 times. It was a miracle. Right.
Read this article on Breitbart.com and listen to the embedded audio file.
It was a ear opener. But not for South Carolina Democrats who have been spreading
walkin'-around money since God was boy. You might be surprised at it, though.
MEGYN KELLY'S HAIRDRESSER
REALLY GETS IT RIGHT
(June 25, 2014) If you did not get to see Megyn Kelly's show Wednesday night,
then you didn't get a first look at her new "do." Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I believe there
is a perfect haircut for every face. Kelly, who is arguably one of the ten best looking people
on Earth, has found her look. It's sleek, no-nonsense, yet extremely complimentary and downright
sexy. Professional and hot, at the same time. If you missed it, here is a still frame, but it looks so much
better in real time.

POST MORTEM-ER SNURD
(June 25, 2014) Rarely, does anything on radio truly effect anything in
the real world. If it were the other way around, the country would be 75% staunch conservative,
but it's not, and Rush Limbaugh really is just an entertainer. It's not that Rush is ever wrong - I
listen all the time and have yet to hear him say anything unfactual, except that one time back in
1992, when he was given some bum information about Autism, but he corrected that.
Greenville's long-time DJ cum Talk Show Host, Russ Cassell, is a talent, at
least on par with Limbaugh. But like most SC radio talents, his voice is limited. In fact, if Russ
was not a National Voice Talent, like your humble editorialist, nobody outside the State would know
of him. At least until the past two weeks. Now, he and his radio show on WORD 106.3FM are
famous ALL OVER.
And it was the political death of Sally Atwater.
The day after the initial primary election, Sally called Russ's morning show
for what she must have thought would be a routine, friendly congratulatory interview. Understand,
SHE called him. She called the guy who had skinned Fritz Hollings who tried to BS his way around
telling everybody that Social Security money was safe, "in a lock box" - his words. Russ stung
him so badly, that Fritz said some very public, very impolite and untrue things about the radio
host.

Russ
|

Sally
|
Anyway, when Sally called, Russ had some very hard Qs for her As. Only,
Sally was completely stymied, and tried to walk sideways out of almost every answer. It could
have ended then, but a WORD producer stuck the conversation up on their interweb page and
the conversation went viral. REALLY viral. By the end of the day, almost every person in
the state had heard it.
To be fair, all Sally had to do was give straight answers. But she didn't, AND
broke one of the primary rules of politics - never assume ANYONE in media is your friend. But she did.
Added to that, there were a lot of Democrats voting in the Republican primary - I'm told by those
in the know that Sally would have won anyway, but her voters stayed home. And THAT, as they say, was it.
To be fair, Russ is a Teddy Bear. But he is also deeply idealistic and
fundamentally religious. He really does believe what he says. And Cassell is NOBODY's
"special media friend." Sally lost by many points.
So now, the Republicans will be running a proven RINO who is just
lucky enough to be running against a socialist with a (D) after the name.
All because of one little interview.
POETRY IN MOTION
(June 25, 2014) Trey Gowdy may not know it, but he's a real poet. I know few South Carolinians who can think as clearly as our Congressman from the Fourth District. These past couple of days have been instructive. Here's an example of his work on the committee which has been examining the IRS Commissioner, John Koskinen, who, it seems, fudged some facts about when he actually knew about Lois Lerner's emails and the fact he has seen no wrongdoing.
Gowdy: "If you destroy documents, a jury can infer that those documents weren't going to be good for you. If you fail to keep documents, that jury can assume that those documents are not going to be good for you.
"You've heard of spoliation of evidence, haven't you?"
Koskinen: "I can't recall ever hearing it."
Gowdy: "It's true in administrative juries, civil hearings, criminal hearings.."
Koskinen: "I practiced law 45 years ago, gave it up for lent one year, and never went back."
Gowdy: "Well, lemme tell you what you would have found, if you had stuck with it [investigating Lois Lerner's claims about her computer files and emails]: When a party has a duty to preserve evidence or records, and they fail to do so, there is a negative inference that is drawn from their failure to preserve the evidence. It's common sense, right?"
Later on:
Gowdy:"Well [Mr. Commissioner], what did Lois Lerner mean when she said, '…that perhaps the FEC [Federal Election Commission] will save the day?'"
Koskinen:"I have no idea what.."
Gowdy: "What did she say.. what did she mean when she said, 'We need a project, but we need to be careful that it doesn't appear to be per se political'? You don't think that's a potential violation of '[US Code] 18-242 [Deprivation of rights under color of law]'?"
Koskinen: "I have no idea that.."
Gowdy: "Because you haven't looked at '18-242!' And you don’t have any idea, Commissioner, you don’t have any idea whether there's any criminal wrong-doing or not.
Koskinen: "With regard to the production of the evidence, the production of Lois Lerner emails, I have seen no evidence of any wrong-doing… there are people who are making judgments about whether [Ms. Lerner and the President] are guilty or.."
Gowdy: "You know what? I'm not one of those. I'm just simply saying we will never know because you didn’t keep the evidence. The evidence was spoliated. And whether it's negligent, whether it's intentional, whether it's reckless, we still don’t have the evidence, commissioner."
Koskinen, then rolls out a talking point about talking points from the White House and how the Republicans are responsible for it, when Gowdy, as we say in SC, brought him up short.
Gowdy: "No sir, you're wrong about that, you're wrong about that, you're repeating a talking point from our colleagues on the other side that we're obsessed with the White House. It was Jay Carney who perpetuated the myth that it was two rogue agents in [Cincinnati] Ohio. It wasn't any of us. Was that accurate? Was that first, initial line of defense that this is just two rogue agents in Ohio, was that accurate, Commissioner?"
The South Carolina Congressman then goes on to show Commissioner Koskinen that he had, indeed said that the Republicans were spreading rumors that the President and his spokesperson had actually begun.

Poetry in politics
One of many reasons I like Mr. Gowdy is that he tells the truth. But he also is not lazy in his thinking or the prosecution of lazy thinkers who come before these hearings. It's pure poetry.
ANOTHER UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCE
OF LEADING FROM BEHIND
(June 24, 2014) It really makes you think. Germany was dead set on
getting all its gold back from the US - close to 92 tons of it. After repatriating only
5 tons, the Obama administration stiffly informed the Gerrys that they
shouldn't ask for any more. Now, why do you think that happened?

Hope you have some. Our Government may not.
|
More than one source is proposing the same scenario: Maybe the rumors
are true - that the Government has run out of gold and has only a very small amount to keep
the "fiction of plenty" floating. There is a very simple way to put all the rumors to bed, and
that is to open up Fort Knox so that everyone can see what's there. Not just "see," but assay
as well.
But THAT won’t happen. If they were to open up Fort Knox, people could
see that there is little or no gold. And do you have any idea what this would do to the solvency
of the Euro as well as the US Dollar? 84 tons of gold short?
The tiring flurry of falsities on the economy, from every administration since
Nixon, and the obfuscation of simple specie is finally coming back to haunt the current group of
liars. We also know that China cannot GET anymore gold, right now, or at least no-one is trading
gold for the Yuan. And, then, there is the rumor that some traders are considering using a computer
unit, rather than the US Dollar because of its inherent fluctuations.
Add that to the apparent weakening of the US Armed Forces, some writers
are pointing to very disturbing happenings in international economics. Is it time to panic? I hope
not. I also hope that none of you have large amounts sitting in big bank accounts.
BACK FROM ON THE HUNT!
(June 23, 2014) I'm back from Hell - Columbia to you - talking to sources
for a story I'm working on. I'll write some tomorrow morning (Monday). In the mean time,
please read this article I found on zerohedge.com.
It's very important and may answer some of the questions I've gotten from your emails about
what a fraud the Stock Market is.

PLUS ÇA CHANGE PLUS C'EST
LA MÊME CHOSE.. STILL.
(June 17, 2014) If you don't come to Swampfox News every day, you
may have missed the Ramirez cartoon, the other day. I'm putting it here, as it were, in the
permanent record. I'm not going to explain it, but I'll give you a hint; Both he and I are
old enough to remember the shameful event that took place on that day in 1975.

That shameful day - April 29, 1975. Photo by Hubert van Es, UPI.
This is why, for so many of us, the Current President reminds us so much of Nixon.
|

Michael Ramirez is the political cartoonist for
Investor's Business Daily.
|
Michael's sabre-tooth sharp wit and cartooning skills put him in the same category
as the great Jeff MacNelly, of late memory.

One of Jeff's - may he rest in peace.
Most people have forgotten what a "cloister-fork" Clinton's tax-sucking administration was.
|
Sadly, it's still, "plus ça change plus c'est la même
chose."
I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE!
(June 16, 2014) I have found the ultimate Father's Day, Birthday, Christmas gift. It's something that every little boy has wanted since the probability of having one became possible. A flying car. The Transition®, Terrafugia's street legal airplane, to be exact.
Every reporter who has covered this flying wonder says - besides the fact that they want one, too - that the makers of this thing say it will be ready by the end of 2015 or the early 2016. Here are some more pictures.
This wonderful little creation can already go 100mph for 410 miles on a tank of hi test gasoline. It can carry 500 lbs at these ratings - so it's definitely a two-person affair. The idea is that you drive to the airport where you would take off and land, then drive to your final destination.
Nifty, isn't it?
But that's NOT the one I want. I want THIS one: The Terrafugia TF-X™ verticle takeoff flying car.

Terrafugia's TF-X at 200mph
|
Now THIS looks like something the Enterprise crew would fly/drive. Can't you just see
Bones, Kirk, Scotty, and Spok flying to the ship in one of these babies.
And the kicker is that if they ever develop a decent fuel cell, it can be easily converted
to all electric.

Terrafugia's TF-X, vertically taking off. Those are
propellers at the ends of those nacelles.
|
The idea is to fly point-to-point. And of course, the only reason we don't
have both flying cars right now? Yep - too much government red tape.

What is the government afraid of? That
they won't able to control it? or you? Anyway, cue the Star Trek Theme.
|
So, that's it. I know I'll have to win the lottery before I could afford one. If
you win, you can give me a ride.. anyway, a guy can dream...... Hope you had a happy Father's Day.
TIME FOR AMERICA TO GROW UP. A LOT.
(June 15, 2014) RUSSIAN TANKS ROLL INTO
EASTERN UKRAINE - IRAQI CITIES RECONQUERED BY TERRORISTS -
OBAMA MOVES A CARRIER WITH ORDERS NOT TO SHOOT.. a few headlines
from the past couple of days.
So, here we are again, only, what was predicted when Senator
Obama first showed he was not up to the fight, back in January of 2007, has come true.
You prepare for war if you want peace. He didn't know that, then, and he doesn't know that,
now.

Irony piles high as the USS Carrier George
H.W. Bush is sent to the Arabian Gulf.
|
The kind of sabre-rattling that the President is doing, now, by moving a
carrier to the Arabian Gulf, is too little, too late. Moving important pieces to the Gulf and
reinserting troops on the ground -THAT would make a definitive statement. But Obama
has already written off the Ukraine, and that sign of weakness may subvert any message
he may send by doing something for or to Iraq.
It has been said by others that President Obama has no long term vision,
when it comes to foreign policy. I maintain that he has no long term vision about any area of
his presidency, based on anything but pure fascist idealism.
It's not the end of the world. The sky is not falling. America is still
remarkably strong, even though our President has done everything he can to show the opposite
to the world. The upcoming election really does mean the fate of our country in the wide
world, as well as internally. We fail to change direction, and the sky WILL fall.
You hear a lot these days about war fatigue. Those who are tired, to an
enormous percentage, are not those who have fought. This is not a reality show. This is a
battle which is going to end ONLY when every Islamicist is dead. That may NEVER happen.
And we need to grow up, and face the facts.
LIBERAL OF THE WEEK
(June 14, 2014) All puppies and most cats - regardless of age -

"WHY I VOTE DEMOCRAT"
(Friday, June 13, 2014) SARCASM ALERT!!!!! As you know, I
read a lot of blogs, liberal and conservative, fringe left and hard right. The following comes from
a blog with lots of disgruntled people - people who are supremely unhappy about the results in
the recent SC primary. I won't tell the nom de plume of the write of this next bit, because it's
even ruder than I normally like. but it was written or stolen from someone who wanted to remind the
readers what's been happening the last five and a half years. While reading, I had more than one
spit-up-milk-through-my-nose moments. If you have any sense of how far gone Democrats have taken
our country, you will, too.
"Why I vote Democrat
I vote Democrat because I believe it's okay if our federal government borrows
$85 Billion every single month.
I vote Democrat because I care about the children ..... but saddling them with
trillions of dollars of debt to pay for my bloated leftist government is okay.
I vote Democrat because I believe it's better to pay billions of dollars to people
who hate us rather than drill for our own oil, because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.
I vote Democrat because I believe it is okay if liberal activist judges rewrite
the Constitution to suit our fringe ideas, which would otherwise never get past the voters.
I vote Democrat because I believe that corporate America should not be allowed
to make profits for themselves or their shareholders. They need to break even and give the rest to
the federal government for redistribution.
I vote Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies being
aborted, so long as we keep all of the murderers on death row alive.
I vote Democrat because I believe it's okay if my Nobel Peace Prize winning
President uses drones to assassinate US Citizens, as long as we don't waterboard terrorists.

"...because I believe it's better to pay
billions of dollars to people who hate us rather than drill for our own oil.."
|
I vote Democrat because I believe people, who can't accurately tell us if
it will rain on Friday, can predict the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't
start driving a Chevy Volt.
I vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is not as important as
preventing people from being offended.
I vote Democrat because I believe the oil companies' profit of 3% on a
gallon of gas is obscene, but the federal government taxing that same gallon of gas at 15%
isn't obscene.
I vote Democrat because I believe a moment of silent prayer at the
beginning of the school day constitutes government indoctrination and an intrusion on parental
authority ..... but sex education, condom distribution, and subsidizing madrasas are all
values-neutral.
I vote Democrat because I agonize over threats to the natural
environment from CO2, acid rain, and toxic waste .....
but I totally don't care that parents are disengaging from their children and expect
the taxpayers to pick up the slack.
I vote Democrat because I believe lazy, uneducated stoners should
have just as big a say in running our country as entrepreneurs who risk everything and
work 70 hours per week.
I vote Democrat because I don't like guns because I really do believe
the police will show up before the murderer kills my daughter.
I vote Democrat because I see absolutely no correlation between
welfare and the rise of illegitimacy.
I vote Democrat because I see absolutely no correlation between
judicial leniency and surging crime rates.
I vote Democrat because I believe you don't need an ID to vote but
you do to buy beer.
I vote Democrat because I believe marriage is obsolete.
I vote Democrat because I think AIDS is spread by insufficient
funding.
I vote Democrat because I think "fairness" is far more important
than freedom.
I vote Democrat because I think an "equal outcome" is far more
important than equal opportunity.
I vote Democrat because I would rather hide in a class room while
others fight for my freedom.
I vote Democrat because I'm not smart enough to own a gun and I
need someone else to protect me.
I vote Democrat because I would rather have free stuff than freedom.
And lastly, I vote Democrat because I'm convinced that government
programs are the solution to the human condition, NOT self-reliance."
WHAT, AFTER ALL, IS
A FERRET, BUT A LIZARD WITH FUR.
(June 12, 2014) After spending all day, contemplating the SC Primary results,
what I have to say can best be summed up by Douglas Adams in his Hitchiker's Guide
to the Galaxy Trilogy (in four volumes)....
"It comes from a very ancient democracy, you see...."
"You mean, it comes from a world of lizards?"
"No," said Ford [Prefect], who by this time was a little more rational and
coherent than he had been, having finally had the coffee forced down
him, "nothing so simple. Nothing anything like so straightforward. On
its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people
hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur [Dent], "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford. "It is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously
obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the
vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted
in more or less approximates to the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards?"
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford,
"the wrong lizard might get in."
- Douglas Adams, So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish. (1984) Ch. 36.
This doesn't apply to everyone who ran and everyone who voted, but pretty damn near
all.
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN - WELL..
10% - 14% OF THEM, ANYWAY.
(June 11, 2014) APATHY is the word for Tuesday's SC primaries. The
Democrat turnout was tragically apathetic, but somewhere between 10% & 14% only turned
out for the Democrats/GOP combined. De Toqueville has been accredited with the quote that a people deserve
the government they allow. Whether he said it or not, it's true.

Voting in Anderson Co. - Photo by
Ken Ruinard of the Anderson Independent/Mail
|
This was supposed to be the election that "really showed them," whoever
"them" was. The people were supposed to rise up and vote the bad guys out, whoever the "bad guys"
were. Mostly, the people who were already in are still in. So, were the challengers the "bad guy?"
I bet they don't see themselves that way.
So why, or maybe even better, HOW, did all those incumbents win? The people
in Virginia certainly got rid of Eric Cantor, PRIMARILY over the immigration issue. Why didn't WE
do that? There is an answer.
More Democrats voted in the GOP primary, because the Republicans LET THEM. Just look at at the
number of people who voted for Jim Clyburn (who holds the State's Affirmative Action seat) and
the number of people who voted in the Democrat Senate race, and then look at the same numbers who voted
for Republicans in the same areas. VERY revealing. I assume that this is just fine for the State
Republican Party Establishment, because they wanted Lindsey. And, now, they have him, and
there is a nice guy, Brad Hutto, against him, but a Democrat is still a Democrat in Harry Reid's Senate.
I am happy to report that Tim Scott will be running against a moron socialist
this fall. He is the real face of South Carolina, and definitely speaks for me and mine.
Yes, Thomas Ravenel will most probably run against Lindsey as an independent, and
I'm guessing there will be hell to pay on all sides, because of it - many people realize that his Federal
law breaking was over something that should be, at most, a misdemeanor. But I'm guessing Lindsey will win,
because there are more people who get free stuff (not talking about SS or Medicare) than those who
work, in our State. And Lindsey is the free stuff man.
In the end, the people who just talked and didn't vote are to blame. That's approx.
88% of Republicans in this State, give or take an inch. And THAT is embarrassing.
LIBERAL OF THE WEEK
