Memory Is A Dangerous Things
Stephen Trulove is a Top Commenter on Facebook. If you read a lot of TOWNHALL.com, you'll
run across his ideas. I thought I would share some of them with you. Mr. Trulove was answering
Sue Solakian, another Top Commenter, who was asking why Obama wasn't being impeached and convicted. Now, you might have
expected that e would have simply answered that there were not enough votes in the Senate. I
think you"ll find his answer a tad more interesting..

- Issa's committee subpoenas AJ Holder to testify in Fast and Furious hearings and Obama takes the unprecedented and probably unconstitutional action of protecting Holder under "Executive Privilege" rules. No one is held accountable, and no significant pressure is applied by others in the Republican Party to do so.
- 59 Philadelphia precincts register 0-votes for Romney and 100% of the vote for Obama. Over 19K votes in all and not one vote for Romney. No one is held accountable for verification, and no significant attempts are made to investigate and verify the results by the Republican Party.
- Several precincts in Ohio and Florida record up to 109% of the registered voter population participated. No one is held accountable and there is no significant pressure to investigate by the Republican Party.
- The Benghazi Consulate was attacked by people armed with RPG's and the Whitehouse and our UN Ambassador spin the attacks as spontaneous and caused by some obscure YouTube video that was published last July. …And these lies were perpetuated by the Ambassador and the President for at least two weeks, even though we've learned that the Whitehouse Situation Room knew within the first two hours of the attack as well as findings indicating that it was a coordinated terrorist attack. We also learned that no less than two drones were in the area providing real-time images to the WH Situation Room of the last five of the seven hours the Consulate was under siege; That US quick response teams were ready in Tripoli and Italy, but were ordered to "stand down"; that Ambassador Stevens had requested greater security for weeks, if not months prior to the anniversary of 9/11 and the deadly attacks, and was denied the security increases by the Dept. of State and/or CIA/Whitehouse; and that the Marine who called three times requesting assistance for the 30+ Americans and allies that were in danger, was not only told repeatedly to "stand down", but denied assistance, right up to, and including when he and the other Americans were killed by the attacking forces.
- (I added this one) He specifically promises to meet the Republicans in the middle on the so-called "fiscal cliff," and the very next day, he sends Harry Reid out to fight against any middle road, blaming the Republicans for not meeting in the middle!

In South Carolina, we are lucky to have so many Reagan Republicans representing us in Congress. The problem is many of the other states' representatives who represent moochers and union thugs. It doesn't matter what their political button reads. And don't forget the media who worship Barack Obama and act as his body shield.
Oh, Rats..
You have to wonder who's at the helm of the city of Columbia. Every day, it seems
like, there is a story that is so odd, you have to shake your head in disbelief.
In small amounts, rat poison can very effectively control the number of rats in
any given sewer. Nobody's saying who, but a couple of wives of some very influential people in
Columbia got the Mayor to stop using rat poison.
They are currently doing nothing.

Not just hotter than Hell
Several scholarly papers talk about various ways to get rid of most
of the sewer rats (Norwegian Rat) which can grow to unusual size, one of which is ANTUS, but nothing
beats the old flame thrower and an army of dedicated rat killers. But instead of "Googling it,"
the City of Columbia just quit.

OK, Mr. Bill. Today, we're going to substitute killing rats via ANTUS with doing nothing. That's right, Mr. Bill,
we don't have a clue what we're doing, but we sure know how to respond to a couple of rich people's wives. So,
if you'll just stick your head down the storm drain, we'll see if one of the enormous rats that live there will be
tempted to.. Oh Nooooooooooooooooooo!

Poor Mr. Bill! You just got your head eaten off! But I guess that's
better than dying from bubonic plague! Well, I guess it's time to go back to the drawing board. Maybe we can
dangle one of those rich men's wives on a string, down the drain.. (and so on..)
Government is a blunt instrument which should be used sparingly.

One of the most hilarious things which the left is trying to shush, are these smilarirties
to things Obama says which have been foreshadowed by Adolf Hitler. Some of them will take your
breath away. Here's a sample"

Trust Me. No, Really..
If you were born before before 1950 or were allowed to go to the movies at an early
age, then you'll remember the old horror and science fiction movies. Always, ALWAYS the people in
charge would say, somewhere in the beginning of the flick, "We're in complete control. NOTHING
can go wrong!" And, of course they would wind up being eaten or turned into something worse that
would be sacrificed to some crazy space monster.

As I read the news release from the South Carolina Dept. of Revenue (SCDOR), their
claim of online tax returns being completely safe rings hollow. Are they going to continue to use the
sixth safest online safety company in America, without bid or plan? I'm sorry, but at best, this is not
a good plan, and it smells of fish and bad breath. At worst, we may be talking bribery or inappropriate
influence, punishable by fine and prison.
A year ago, we might have stood by while we were railroaded without even a clue something was wrong. Now,
considering the four to six month wait before we were all told abut the monumental screwup at SCDOR, and
considering the VERY QUESTIONABLE circumstance of using Experian as the state online security firm, patience is
running thin.
Many people are still waiting for another shoe to drop. The cry increases for new
Social Security numbers, and can you blame them? Still, it LOOKS as if we are setting ourselves up for more abuse,
unless we act. Fast approaches the time for pitchforks and feathers.
A Football Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray that I won't be a sheep. If I should die before
I wake.. (heavens! what a thought!!). Bless everybody and keep our guys and gals in the military safe.
And, Lord, if you REALLLLLLLLLLY love me, could you please see your way clear to letting either
Georgia or Alabama play Oregon in a Bowl, this season? If for no other reason than to humble the
announcers at ESPN.. Please? Amen.
Waiting for the Local Monday
Sports Talk Shows
When it's chilly in the Midlands and the Lowcountry, it's just plain
COLD in the Upstate. Even so, the Gamecocks played one of their best games, in spite of
the cold, the loss of Marcus Lattimore, and in spite of the annoying injury to Connor Shaw.
Carolina took did not wait to wake up in the first quarter, and, by the end of the punishingly
cold, dry-breezy night, the score was 27 to 17, the home town crowd at Clemson on their way
home to dream of humility for another year.

Dylan Thompson was better than credible as the backup quarterback.
All the true Freshman needs is a few more pounds and to get a little faster, and he will be a
formidable first-stringer. His arm is amazing. It throws ropes.
Steve Spurrier has now tied the mythical Rex Enright for the largest
number of wins in a row against Clemson (4), and has become the winingest Coach at Carolina,
in this case, surpassing Enright.
The great Clemson offense was not to be denied, completely, as they scored
early with 14 points. Unfortunately, the Carolina defense was not to be denied their denying
of the Tigers, either, as they shut down Clemson's offense, except for three points, in the second
half, as Jadeveon Clowney overcame his own injury to play another outstanding game - four sacks.

But the football gods are fickle. And those at Carolina who think Clemson
is no big thing, should husband their hubris and knuckle down for the upcoming bowl.
ps. I can't wait for the crushing of Notre Dame in the BCS Championship Bowl
by whomever is the SEC winner. I'm sorry, but Southern Cal is not a test for any major football
team, and ND only won by 9 points. But this is another example of why the BCS is such a complete
failure.
Manufactured Racism
Something very, very bad is happening. More and more, in private places,
in liberal publications, on blogs, on Facebook, anti-semitism is rearing its ugly head. It's almost
as if there is a public relations campaign being employed against Israel, specifically, and Jews,
in general.
And, so, it is. One of Obama's closest aides, David Plouffe, was paid $100,000
by a company doing business with Iran just before joining the White House staff. Even commercial
PR firms like Burson-Marsteller are so tight with Iran, that they refused to help Israel and
have persuaded other large American PR firms to ignore them, as well.
This is not a fantasy. You can even Google it.

Judah P. Benjamin, Confederate Secretary of War, was raised in
South Carolina. His home of Charleston was home to the largest
congregation of Reform Jews in America.
And, for once, it is not the fault of Barack Obama, at least, not entirely. He will
not lift a finger to stop the racism against the Jews, but he will not actively support the racism,
either. However, it is to his advantage that the country is becoming more and more divided. It was
a technique used quite frequently by Mussolini - let it appear that others are doing the dirty work.
South Carolina has a long history of tolerance when it comes to almost everyone, and we
are on the cusp of tolerance of everyone. We cannot allow this sinister wickedness to slime its way
into our precious homeland. And we must use every power that we possess, as a state, to keep ourselves
safe from the Federal power of hatred and division. Safe, until we can stand with other states and
proclaim our freedom against the Federal racism that surrounds us on purpose.
Tools Down! or not..
Unions, empowered by the presidential election squeaker, are planning strikes
right an left.. or maybe I should say,
"left and 'lefter'." Our sources
say that Boeing is blessing the day they decided to move to South Carolina, as are Michelin and
BMW. Right to work states garner such praise.

This SEIU protester did not even work at LAX. Did not know why
she was protesting.
What unions don't appreciate is the fact that, even with the specific one-sided
interference by the NLRB, they will still be chasing businesses
away. Nobody wants to do business
with unions, anymore. It would be like marrying the person who sexually abused you as a child. Added
to that, businesses who have not already moved to those states, or have been courted by those states to
come there, would be stupid to do business there.
The Justice department is under investigation. Some of our other sources say that the NLRB is
being investigated by several state bureaux of investigation. And instead of letting sleeping dogs lie,
the unions
are pushing for even more illegal support. This kind of bootjack fascism, which always follows
economic fascism, will breed nothing but failure.
Jubilate Deo
Feel bad? Depressed? Unhappy? You don't have to be. There's
a really good poem you might be interested in. I have included it here for your Thanksgiving
enjoyment. It always gives me strength and makes me happy.
The reason it does, is because it's a song of David, King of Israel. David
wasn't perfect, by any means. But he always loved God, even as he acted out his stupid behavior.
Every one of us has a friend like David. We may not approve of his behavior, but he is still
our friend. I believe God works like that. Surely that has to give every one of us, who have
done dumb things, at least some hope.

Taking Their Medicine
After the election, as you may already know, I rummaged around, trying
to find answers as to why, after all the work, time, and money, was spent on this election,
it ended as it did. I think I may have discovered the answer, but I don't think you're
going to like it.
The answer is, ALL OF THE ABOVE.
- Many millions of Tea-Party conservatives did not vote - enough to defeat every Democrat running.
- The Democrats DID play Santa Claus. It may be insulting, but it is still, nonetheless, true.
- Gary Johnson bled off several million libertarian votes - enough to defeat Obama.
- Moderate Republicans are perceived as not cool. Cool requires the ability not only to
be able to laugh at oneself, but to be able to share that laughter, even on popular TV shows.
- The ideals of Republicans are NOT self-evident to people educated in public schools.
- The diversity of Republicans is NOT self-evident to people who have been perpetually told
otherwise.
- Republicans must return blow for blow - in EVERY venue - as merciless as they have been
attacked, and go one to strike new and crippling blows to the Democrats. Hit them where
they live, where they sleep, where they preach, where they teach.
- Republicans MUST embrace libertarians AND conservatives AND TEA Partiers. The moderates will
follow or be left behind.
- Republicans must TEACH, at every opportunity, that Constitutional resolve is not "meanness,"
but an everyday blessing of the rights of humanity.
- For their part, conservatives need to understand that some abortions are self defense.
- Republicans MUST reject the moderation of the New England Republican Establishment.
- Republicans must remember that Obama did not win any mandate. He barely won at all.
- And, finally, the Republicans must ALWAYS embrace the truth with clear-eyed vigor. If they
do the above, there will be no need for Democrat dirty tricks and societal bribery.
Now, the economy belongs to Obama. At the very best, our success will
be limited to the stunted growth of Japan. The market will become erratic. The dollar will be
supplanted. Medical expenses will skyrocket. But Republicans cannot count on the
populace to just give Obama up. They must be reminded EVERY DAY why conservative
libertarianism is the better choice, NOT why Obama is the fool he is. The former must
be proclaimed, the latter, experienced, as it surely will be.

The French have allowed
their generally liberal nature to work against them. Again.
If you will remember, just a few weeks ago, France elected a Socialist named Hollande to be their
head of state. Like all naïvèes Socialistes, Hollande promised Les Français
the known world, all the gold that they could eat, world peace, and a workers' paradise. He's only
been in power but a few weeks, and already his Obamaesque reforms are slowing the economy down even
further than it was before he came into power
I like France, but not so much as to BE France. Politically, we have seen the wickedness and have
ignored it, or embraced it. I will be very interested to see what the market does today.
Hopes and Fears
If you didn't see the Carolina-Wofford game, you don't know that the Gamecocks
are.. how do you say this gently.. challenged.. when it comes to passing against a zone defense.
The Gamecock defense took three quarters to figure out the Terrier's wishbone.

It doesn't matter that the ACC has only three decent teams, Clemson is one
of those three. Anyone who thinks that this coming Saturday will be a cakewalk for Carolina
is blowing bubbles.
Riding Into the Sunset
In all the talk about the demise of the Twinkie, nobody even bothered to mention
that the unions have also killed off the sponsor of The Lone Ranger. They
also sponsored the SEC, their roots going back to their beginnings in Birmingham, Alabama.
Merita Bread was bought by Interstate Bakeries Corporation in 1988, after years of successful baking.
Later, IBC bought back all their outlying stock and went private, naming themselves, "Hostess Brands,"
in an attempt to get a handle on their expenses, one of which were so many unions that success would
never be theirs.(source)

Had there not been an Obamacare, they may have been able to negotiate with the
20 unions, successfully. But when the Bakers Union went on strike, they realized they simply could
not afford to go on. They shuttered all of their plants today. When their stores run out, they will
close, too. Over 18,500 people will lose their jobs, altogether.
You're going to hear a lot of distressed people, who are now out of work. When
you hear them, have pity on them. They thought they were right in supporting their union,
Obamacare, and all the other moocher laws that our country has embraced. They were warned
it wouldn't work, that the money wasn't there. Now they know how wrong they were.
So, as the "Overture to William Tell" fades, and the Masked Man and his faithful
friend, Tonto, ride off into the sunset, the America they represented dies along with the strains. This
time, there is no commercial. Fade to black.

Jim Yells Racism (again)
Every time a conservative or any lover of the truth gets close to the truth, the
Democrats trot out Jim Clyburn (D-SC) to accuse that person of racism. This time, it's for the wretched excuse
of a UN ambassador, Susan Rice, who slavishly appeared in front of the media Sunday Shows to
back up her man, Barack, on the false story about Benghazi and that stupid film. Jim had knowledge
of the Benghazi actions early on, it seems.
What is really so sad about Jim is that for the period of his life, before he
was crowned King of the Congressional Corridor of Shame, he fought for justice and equality, and
against "Tomism" and racial stereotypes. I wonder if he realizes that he's being trotted out on
some political ekkyklema, like a crazed, slaughtered character in a Greek tragedy.
Evolutionary Conundrum
While we're all waiting for the next shoe to drop in the Benghazi scandal, there is
a much less, but equally amazing, scandal developing on the other side of the planet. The UN is killing rats on the
Galapagos Islands.
The very place which gave birth to the idea of evolution, in the mind of the often
misunderstood Charles Darwin, is a site of tinkering with evolution. It can be assumed that, since Darwin
arrived on the Beagle, the ship had rats. So, the very person who conceived of evolution, may have introduced a
variant in evolution to the very place which aided that conception.

What's up, Chuck?
Is your head hurting yet?
The real question is - Why is the UN screwing with the process of natural selection? The
answer must be that the United Nations doesn't consider humans to be a part of evolution, and that, because they
brought rats to that island. Do they know something we don't know about the presence of humans or
rats on Planet Earth? Are we the original illegal aliens? Are they? Is the UN?
What does the UN know, and when did they know it? Are we here, on Earth, because of a spontaneous protest?
Did the rats come from a sinking UFO? A Terrorist act? Are we here because of a Union strike?
Do humans live on Earth because we all fell off a fiscal cliff, and had to move from Mars? The rats?
Whatever the reason, by trying to kill the rats which infest the historic archipelago, all
they are doing is participating in another evolutionary act. The UN is more powerful than the rats on the
Galapagos Islands - THEY are the fittest. But animals that eat the poisoned rats will also die, and they
will be determined to be necessary deaths, by the wiser United Nations. Who knows, this wise act of
the UN may kill ALL the animals who inhabit the archipelago..?
Either way, the Galapagos Islands will, once again, assert for all to see the stupidity
of government, trying to solve a natural problem, which is, in itself, an evolutionary event. And, personally, I
can't wait for the UN to become extinct.
Now Up to 40 States!
For the record, I think secession is a bad idea. But I will do everything in my power
to keep South Carolina free.
I was searching the internet, today, looking for comments from regular people
on all the secession talk, and the 40 states who where petitions have originated, and I got to thinking,"What
if all 50 States seceded from the union?" Think about it. Who would we secede FROM?

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that
they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and
the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their
just powers from the consent of the governed..."
The answer seems simple enough. We would secede from Washington, DC, which, as we all know,
can't secede from itself. And would that not be a site. There would sit Mr. Obama, King of his 64,000 acres, with
no-one to boss around, no-one to bully, no-one to "help" out their taxes or health or lives.
But that's a pipe dream. Still, one commenter was bewailing the fact that she would no longer
get her welfare check. In her expletive-laden vituperation, she asked WHO would supply the food stamps
and the "free" housing. "Then why," she asked, "do we pay federal income tax?"
That, madam, IS the question, isn't it? Why, indeed? Our country is just waking up,
after 70 years of sleep, after the greatest generation won the most historic victory, ever. We are just now yawning
and asking ourselves the important questions, one of which is, is secession the answer to fascism?
Probably not. But if you force a people who thought they were free to kowtow to a fascist statism,
it may, eventually, be the only solution. And, God help us, if it actually happens. I'm named for several great-grandfathers
and a great-great uncle. All were patriots. Three were South Carolina patriots. One was a general in The Late
Unpleasantness. He died a pauper in Georgetown. Frankly, I don't think he would want me to go through all that
again. Yet, being half Scot, half Huguenot, I will not cotton to fascists or pseudo-intellectuals, masquerading as
progressives.
Again, for the record, I think secession is a bad idea. But I will do everything in my power to keep
South Carolina free from the influence of the fascist Obama administration. I believe that path is still through
the power of the vote. So my solution is to vote locally and let's really work on neutralizing the brie-and-boxed
wine progressives.
Next time, VOTE-US, not POTUS.
Another Colossal Example of Ignorance, or, is Obama Dirty?
I'm still mulling all the information on Patraeus and the widening circle of deceit that is
being spun by the Obama Administration. This has Axelrod all over it. We still don't have all the information,
and, there are other shoes which will drop.
But one thing is sure; It's all meant to draw attention away from Obama and his agents, who are
lying about the murders in Benghazi, and Obama's culpability.
Smoking Weather-Joe Is At It Again
Weatherbell.com ace meteorologist, Joe Bastardi, has been calling for flooding possibilities in
New York around Thanksgiving. Seems his historical-pattern-recognition technique, which called for Sandy + Nor'easter,
right on the nose, is seeing onshore flow. Now, this may or may not be the herald of Snow for us, but come
December, there's a good chance it will be colder in the Palmetto State than is was in 2011!
And, if you were a premium member of Weatherbell.com, you'd have known about this possibility,
a week ago.

and crises, so small ones can more easily cascade down into massive ones. If people expected they could
become vast wars or revolutions or implosions, they would take more precautions to prevent that. But
when lulled in expecting the worst cannot happen, the worst than they could ever imagine often explodes

With one exception so far, eventually, all families with integrity either flee their
homeland or bargain for peace with their souls.

Forrest Gump is crying, tonight. Alabama was sacked by a whole team of
ATMs. The BCS is being proven, once again, to be a pile of poo! No wonder ESPN is trying
so desperately to defend it.
Clemson, on the other hand is celebrating. For the fourth time
this season, the Tigers have defeated St. Ætheldreda's School for Blind Virgins.
