So glad to see the rest of the conservative media picking up on the complete failure-in-waiting the Chevy Volt is.
We predicted this over a year ago and why it would be a failure. We mentioned it again in May of this year. The Chevy Volt is "a piece," as the kids say. It doesn't even come close to what an electric car can do (See the Leaf and the Tesla.) It uses old technology. It's too expensive. We still maintain that all this does is help GM - which has not repaid the majority of Tax money stolen from Americans - meet their phony mileage quota.

Obama continues to commit political suicide. The fake rally at the Chrysler plant in Michigan, today, is falling on deaf ears. Does he really think that Americans don't know he stole their children's future income in order to seem like a hero? Taxpayers are the ones who kept those cheering union thugs in business, when the workers AND taxpayers could have kept their jobs by simply declaring bankruptcy and reorganizing without the union. $56,000 per union worker.. so far..

Of course there is nothing wrong with letting Joy Bahar drool all over you on The View. But when you ditch the Boy Scouts for an ego massage, you're getting some really bad advice, back at the ranch.

If the environmental effects of the BP oil spill turn out to be much less than all the environmentalists said it would be, then one of two things are true: either they all lied, or they're all incompetent. What really has happened is that the GOVERNMENT cut off the jobs, the territory, and the infrastructure. Oil spill pros around the world agree on one thing - the amounts may vary, but the administration's handling of the spill was the bigger disaster.

And, let's face it - the only thing good about the whole mess was that we all got to hear those marvelous Cajun accents. Hooooooweeeee! Ah Gahwrontee!

You have to wonder if the demonstrating illegals realize how silly they look. Never mind that they have to bus them in from outside of Arizona. Never mind that most of the demonstrators are SEIU thugs and thugettes. They are dressed in silly clothes and saying silly things. Honestly, they sound like a bunch of high school preppies who have been asked to substitute for the real cheerleaders.

There is an old saying on wall street that goes, "If everybody is saying the same thing, buy differently." The problem is that not everybody is saying the same thing, especially about which way the market will go from here. The market continues to trade sideways with heart-stopping lurches up and down. There really doesn't seem to be any reason why this pattern should change, until everybody thinks it will do nothing but go one way. Then, you'll know it will go the other way.

One thing you CAN count on.. the current administration will bankrupt this country. Whether it results in the greatest depression in history or nosebleed-stagflation, it ain't gonna be pretty. They have no exit strategy for their debt and spend nightmare. Oh, and the Fed lied again today - they're not in the black with AIG.

Here's something you may not like to hear: Nothing has changed. The Constitution is still strong and is still, ultimately, interpreted along the wishes of the Founders of the greatest country in the history of the world. Local cops can still arrest illegals. Local police can still arrest people for federal crimes.

Even more positive is the fact that another judicial failure in a black robe has outed herself. No decent jurist will respect anything that comes out of that federal judge from now on. Her career is now totally dependent on a group of people who have little credibility, and even what they have will be gone November 2.

But ALWAYS remember: ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. You should also remember that phrase when it comes time to re-elect all the people who promised fidelity and then treated us all like cheap hookers. People like Barack Obama, and Lindsey Graham, and John McCain, and Harry Reid, and every other Progressive.

Is it time for an impeachment and conviction? Is it a felony if the CEO of the country refuses to enforce the law? Can the citizens of the country demand that a sitting president do his job? Can any one of us do anything in the face of the illogic, race-baiting, and retribution tactics of the current administration?

Yes and no. We can demand it, but not even our bravest in Congress can press for removal, because we didn't elect enough Joe Wilsons and Jim DeMints. There's not a damn thing that we can do, before November 2nd, 2010 - and even then, not until January 15th, 2011.

Also, This current resident of the White House even has the right to declare a military emergency and revoke habeas corpus on a trumped up charge of racial unrest. And he can do it on a dime with the professional liars who are already in his corner. Not just media, but senators, congressionals, the vomitous PR flaks in Washington, and progressive blogs around the country have already lined up.

He loves Lincoln? Sure! Lincoln pushed the South into rebellion. His only mistake was thinking the war he caused could be won in a year, as he was told by his advisors. But this current incarnation isn't just pushing the South, he's dividing the country along racial lines. The mistake this time is that the the various races aren't buying it. The real divide he has caused is between honest Latino capitalists and the cheaters who are here illegally, stealing THEIR jobs. He divides hard working African Americans from lazy race-baiting poverty pimps. He divides good ole boys from bad ole boys, hockey moms from never-moms, workas from playas.

The answer, however, doesn't lie in secession or rebellion. The answer lies in grim determination, remembering one important idea: IF YOU DON'T REPLACE A RINO F0R A REAGAN REPUBLICAN - IF YOU VOTE FOR A Progressive, YOU ARE VOTING FOR YOUR OWN DEMISE.

So we were right all along! The FINREG bill actually allows the SEC to act in secrecy, thanks to Obama & the Dems. This is "transparency?" We TOLD You that he LIED!!! Now you're surprised?

Now, now. Don't kill 'em. Just vote 'em out.

Either the world has gone insane, or it's just another bunch of Progressives, whining in the darkness. A Nebraska city council has voted to ban a state law which makes it a crime to rent to illegals. No, they probably do not have the right to supersede a state law - you certainly can't do that in South Carolina, but, heck, they're Yankees, so there's no telling. See, it's that pesky old US Constitution, again. States' Rights really means, a state's right to declare what the law is, in cases where they are not superseded by the specific allowance of the US or state Constitution (not even a Congressional law or Presidential fiat). In most states, the state is the final arbiter.

Can't remember when I have laughed so hard. Rob Miller is running for the House against Joe Wilson. He promises, if elected, that he will work to reduce the pay of Congressmen and staff. The joke is that he'll be in the Progressive caucus!

Can't you just see little Robbie talking to Nancy Pelosi saying, that he thinks she ought to sign on to his plan? If people vote for him and the Progressives win again, Miller will be spending all of his time sucking eggs in the back of the caucus room. He might, MIGHT, be asked to get Nancy a glass of water. That is, when he's not kissing her fascist behind.

If Joe gets to be in the majority, which is what real South Carolinians, as are ALL Americans, are praying for, he'll have plenty to do, like undoing all the horse manure that all we taxpayers have been forced to helplessly witness.

Two words for the Wikileaks guy: JACK RYAN. Liberals will not understand this. Can't be helped. Sorry.

OK, so we're not in a post-racial world, according to Jesse Jackson and other poverty pimps. The reason they believe this is because they are not getting the attention they once did. Frankly, I must agree with them. We will never be in a post-racial world. As long as there is a buck to be made from dissention, there will be charges of racism.

And it's not just any racism. It's racism with a view. As an example, take those who contend that there is something called "systemic" or "institutional" racism. They actually have nothing to base this theory on than the emotions of guided interviewees; Hence, they "guide" the person being interviewed to get the result they expect. In other words, they already know the answer they want before they ask the question, which of course, is rubbish as far as the scientific method is concerned.

Nevertheless, the wretched method these people use is very instructive as to the view they hold. This is very dangerous for those who do not know the definitions that are prescribed by whatever is the particular view of a person or group. Even though they are innocent by ignorance of any raciality, they can easily be accused of being a racist according to the view of the interpreting person.

Unless the actions of one person are obviously, obtusely racist, in effect, the experience of racism resides almost solely with the person witnessing the actions or words, rather than reacting to the aforesaid set of previously universally understood behaviors. The most famous existential gaffe of this type occurred on July 8, 2008, when Dallas Commissioner John Wiley Price, called another Commissioner, Kenneth Mayfield a racist when he said that it seemed Dallas' Central Collections had become a black hole, because paperwork reportedly got lost in the office. For the eight people in the state who don't know what a black hole is, google "singularity." Another example are some current college professors at Berkeley, who want to reserve the color black so that only African-Americans can use the word. And, those who disagree with them are said to be influenced by systemic racism, a completely illogical and bogus argument, which exists, nonetheless.

Obviously, then, there are as many types of racism as there are people who consider themselves capable of being insulted. The NAACP asked that a greeting card which used the term "black hole" be pulled from the shelf, only because they could not differentiate between the term "black hole" and "black ho." If you will remember, we warned you about the politics of umbrage, and how it would eventually be used against anyone who was not liked by the poverty pimps. Now it comes, in the final months before what may well be the most important election in the history of the world - we are not exaggerating - and it comes naked and unabashed in its commission. Racism is being charged in every form possible, flailing like a small child, throwing a hissy fit.

In the end, their definitions boil down to one understanding: anyone who is not their kind of person is not worthy to say anything about race for good or ill. Even Mr. Obama cannot be his own kind of person, black or white. Rather, it seems more like the usual suspects are saying that Obama must be perceived as THEIR TYPE OF BLACK PRESIDENT, and all of the falsity that this attitude engenders.

Listening to John Dean talk on a Sunday Show today, makes it abundantly clear that the Progressives intend to lie their heads off from now until November. He started off attacking Fox News, who have been overtly fair, even when the other side had no side - that goes for Conservatives as well as Liberals and Progressives.

6,000,000 seems like a lot. That's the government-estimated number of "rich" people in America - that is, the number of people who make over $250,000 a year. But, if you're in government and trying to support a budget which is $1½ Trillion (with a T) over budget, this is a frighteningly small number of taxpayers. Let's say that each Taxpayer will even contribute as much as an average of $100,000 a year in taxes, beyond Social Security and Medicare Taxes.

Do the math - carry the zeros. What you get is a sum that is less than half the over-budget amount. Something on the order of $600 Billion Dollars. And that's ALL they have. Currently, they are already paying about $425 Billion. Again, we see that the current economics of the current administration is based on monies which are impossible to raise. Not even getting into the faulty Keynesian premises, the funds to run their econo-fascist plan simply aren't there. AND, we're not even counting the war costs or paying down the $13 Trillion debt!

The most Americans can afford, really afford, has been estimated at about $1.6 Trillion. So, if the most we can get from the American Taxpayer, businesses, fees and drayage taxes is about $1.6T, and we're already getting all but $175 Billion now, then how can we possibly get the extra 1.3T ?

Remember, also, that these numbers are poor estimates, at best, because we don't really know how many people there are in the country, how much they actually make, and how much money we actually owe. These numbers are hopefully close examples, only.

But our government-turned-fantasyland imagines that they can make you jealous of the rich, when in fact, your jealousy and vote will only allow them to make things worse. They're hoping that unfulfillable promises of things getting better will trump logic, grim determination, and a real chance to make things better yourself. And their hopes will ring true to the most foolish, scared, and lazy among us. All the rest of us can hope for is that there are more of us than there are of them, come November 2nd.

We have added 2 weather features. It's really for self defense, this time. Under the pilot weather forecast maps we have added four maps which foretell the pattern of the Jet Stream. If you save the visual file from one week ahead, you will find that they are almost never precise. Sometimes, they're not even close. Usually, though, the one for tomorrow is pretty accurate. A little above that, we have added the 12-Hour Water Vapor Satellite loop, which helps you guess about strong and weak fronts and guess better at precipitation possibilities.

You really have to hand it to the Columbia City Council. Not only have they completely overridden the conservatives on the council, but when it comes to the prosecution of gangs, they have proven their "old south guilt" - bashing to be both destructive and stupid at the same time.

Gee, "Shots rang out in Columbia's Five Points early Saturday morning"..? Really? Now, how do you imagine that happened? Oh wait.. that must be the GANGS who have claimed Five Points for their own. Maybe? You think?

Maybe the city council will call for an Obama - style commission to look into that? There's so much "old south guilt" to deal with, and you know, every Progressive and Liberal in town will support you. Right up until the time they get killed by one of those poor, misunderstood gang members.

We used to go to five points as children. ALONE. But, we're told, it's been years since Five Points was safe for children. Yes.. Yes it has. Please tell us all what Conservative or Eleutherian idea has been used to get us to where Five Points is today. We'd ALL love to hear it.

Did you see where the Associated Press has begun its hatchet-job on Nikki Haley? Anyone want to guess who owns part of AP? Here's a hint - they get invited to the White House a WHOLE lot.

This time they're hitting on Haley for actually waking up and realizing you HAVE to eschew tax increases when we're spending money on people who will never, ever try to get a job. I'm talking bout healthy young and middle-aged people who refuse to be productive, and you would be surprised to see how many there are - all races, too.

We can now refer to Sen John Kerry (D-MA) with a Monty Pythonesque title, because of his miscreation with his sailboat. He's docking his boat in another state so he can dodge the Massachusetts Luxury Yacht Tax. What? Massachusetts doesn't have boat slips? Doesn't have excellent sailboat refurbishers and maintainers? Have you guessed it, yet? Right! From now on, let's all call him John Olay-Bisquetbarrel Luxury-Yacht Kerry. He needs to serve on the Senate Committee for Silly Walks.

Don't Kid Yourself. Obama and his henchmen WANT to know how much gold you have. That's why they had congress pass their new "1099" passage in the new FINREG bill. Why? Because Obama sees himself as Lincoln and Roosevelt. Both of them tried to seize all the gold in the country. Roosevelt was successful, which is one of the reasons why we are in the mess we are. If they hold the gold, then they can lie even better about printing paper money. It's also a major reason The Soviet Union fell. Only their missiles insured their word about the gold they weren't really holding.

Nice gains in the Market, but NO SIGNIFICANT VOLUME. This is not a rally. The sidelines are VERY crowded. Look for the market to dive, again, maintaining its sideways motion.

No inflation? More fool us, if we believe it. The price of copper is up. Way up. China continues to drag copper into their industrial growth, which continues, as long as they stonewall the actual price of the Yuan. Copper is used in so many places and in so many ways, that it would take four of these columns to name them all. That means copper is a vital component of the price of almost everything. Even food - people should have a small amount of copper (as cupric acid) in their diet.

If copper is up, expect the price of everything else to go up. When prices go up, we call that, "inflation." But there is a scarier possibility. If we don't get more people back to work, consumption will continue to fall. This creates stagflation, or the real, consumption economy stagnates while big multinationals stay alive, increasing the price of things. The gap between unemployment and being employed or starting your own business grows. None of this healthy for an economy.

And, yes, the Obama administration has not addressed any of this, and ideologically, probably won't.

Yes, the world is falling apart, and the State has become a pit of politics, instead of the shining city on the hill it used to be, and we should be pointing out bad guys and such, and the vice clown is in town. But not right now. I want to get personal:

I finally realized that I don't have a favorite Star Trek series. Apparently, this is very important to Trekkers ("Trekkie" is a benign mistake, but many Trekkers take umbrage at the other term.) It isn't that I find it unimportant, it's just that I can look at each series and remember how I looked forward to each one of them as it came out and, then, enjoyed each episode of each series.

It is important to have a favorite, because each series has its own ethos, that is, each has its own politics, its own point of view, and its own spiritual slant. Star Trek, Next Generation, for instance, is pure utopian Marxism. But it can afford to be, because they have machines that can cough up anything. ANYTHING. Money is worthless and meaningless.

In Star Trek, Deep Space 9, The first two seasons are about "Black Angst." The third season was about everybody just getting along. after that, it became more and more about adventures through the Bejoran wormhole and the shape-shifters who really could take over the Universe. On second thought, that series may have jumped the shark - but it definitely had its own politics.

Star Trek: Voyager had a distinct political view that not only can people of different cultures get together, but they can beat the crap out of other people who didn't. But they exuded a positive attitude that was infectious. Unfortunately, it was the 90's and EVERYBODY hated Clinton and found their spirit of enthusiasm too much. It did not live to see the Twin Towers fall. I hated that, because it had just the kind of togetherness that our country needed. As it was, that attitude was what we got from W. It was his best talent. It was most like the Original.

I think, if there is a Star Trek I don't like, it was the direction the series took with the first few episodes of Enterprise. They actually were afraid of the formula that Gene Roddenberry proved could work, and so they talked Marjel (Nurse Chappel and Gene's real wife) into doing it their way. Dumb. It had no clear vision of politics or spirit or culture. And, it really didn't get good until they started the alternate world genesis angle, but by then, it was too late.

If there is a perfect blend of The Original Star Trek of the 60's, and all of the whizz-bang that's available in computing, it has to be the new beginning that debuted last year. The whizz-bang was so good that they're still explaining how the space dive scene was made by Industrial Light & Magic, on the official StarTrek web site. The spirit is.. well.. the old spirit - that the future is a great place, where everybody has purpose and vision and a world war has settled everything without becoming H.G Wells' horror show (or Stanley Kubrick's, or Terry Gilliam's, either). People DO things. Oh, there ARE enemies, but they are either naturally evil, or dreadfully misinformed, or as in the latest movie, they've been scarred by a complete misinterpretation of an extinction event.

It has been said that the deck of the Starship Enterprise is a melting pot of different cultures which never melts, but always has the potential to melt. The new movie actually did better by saying they never melt because they're surfing the tension, which makes them better able to beat the crap out of people who don't or can't.

I can't leave this trip down memory lane without mentioning the soaring scores of Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Leonard Rosenmen, and, lately, Michael Giacchino. A lot of movie music is good. But the music from these composers rises to the level of of Art. The original theme was part cool, part samba by Alexander Courage the latter part of which was totally out of place, but the tune still lives on.

OK, fine. Maybe I am a square nerd in a round jock world, but at least my future still has a future, thanks to the imagination of Gene Roddenberry, Bill Shatner, Leonard Nemoy, Deforrest Kelley, Nichelle Nicol, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, every security officer who ever died, and a host of others.

It's good to see earnings up, but sad in a way, too. It means that companies are upwardly profitable without increased labor capacity. In other words, the big companies have enough workers and they're doing just fine, thank you, without any new workers. And until the Obama administration stops scaring the hell out of companies big and small, the people out of work are liable to continue to be out of work. So much for John Maynard Keynes. Hello, Il Duce - Imperator, Dictator, Pater Fascestae! Ave!

Speaking of Too Much Government.. Why do we have a State Emergency Management Division? Think about it. What is their "purpose." If they're there to help in disaster coordination, thanks, but that's for the Red Cross and Salvation Army - both volunteer organizations - to take care of. If we're expecting an atomic attack, then we have our militia, who will, hopefully do the needful and coordinate. If they're there to dole out money to local emergency services, who gave them that function and why don't local areas take care of themselves? We have SLED. We have Highway Patrol Folks. We have county cops. We have city cops. We even have rent-a-cops. Oddly, it looks as if we don't need an SEMD.. unless we need to feed the cousin of some state senator's best friend.

 
Vice President Drebin will be in Columbia, tomorrow. He's there to dedicate the Fritz Hollings collection of other people's works at one of USC's libraries. Can't wait for the faux pas and ironies. (Also, watch for people who call themselves "reporters" drool all over him, rather than just asking important questions.)

I'm not saying that I'm right. But, sitting here, watching that marvelous science series, "Morgan Freeman Through The Wormhole," it is entirely possible that the physicists at CERN - using the their large hadron collider - may NOT find the Higgs Boson we feature in our Frankie Fox cartoons. If the absence of the Higgs Particle becomes known fact, then I sincerely hope they will look a at the idea that light slows down at the edge of the universe, which makes it APPEAR that the universe is speeding up. Just sayin'.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

The new FINREG bill was welcomed by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange! Pour Quoi? Because it's all about big money markets making money by trading derivatives. All this free trade was supposed to be limited by the FINREG bill, but it was written by Progressives so poorly, that it insures, not limits, big company trading in derivatives.

The small and medium farmers, however ARE being hurt by having to pony up more cash in order to buy futures for their crops. ¿Por Que? The whole futures market was created by farmers looking for insurance against the threat of bad markets. FINREG takes that away because they can't put their crop up as collateral.. they must now have more cash. Several farmers were quoted on the floor of the CME, today, saying if they have to, they'll trade in Hong Kong which still allows free trade. Watch for more money exiting the market. Could happen..

Unintended consequences of tiny minds trying to mess with complex systems. Can you hear the echoes of "Tim the Enchanter?"

Been sayin' it since 2007. The Bush firing of federal attorneys allegedly for failure to prosecute black on white crime was not political, there was no law broken and it was, totally, a political play by Progressives. In May of 2008, I chided Republicans for their denial of their conservative values by not defending this and other doings of President Bush.

We, here in the Swamp like to wait to find out the facts, before we opine. This is why we have not jumped on the Shirley Sherrod racism charge. We fear that the following observation will please no-one. Nevertheless..

There is no doubt that Shirley is a racist. She has been raised to think racially and has allowed her awful prior circumstances, over which she had no control - her father being murdered with no justice or worthwhile investigation, for one - to shape her feelings and ideals. One only needs to listen to her full statements to realize that she approaches almost everything in her life, racially.

She is also a Marxist. Her clearest statement on that tape, about "rich vs poor," is a first-class, manifest statement of Marxism.

But she is also a Redeemed Marxist-Racist. She, herself had her heart softened, according to her own words, by God putting the poor white farmer in her path.

Why the differentiation? Because she is not a gross hater either because of her racism or her economic politics. When it comes to Marxism, she only believes it, she does not hurt other people who don't believe it, like the Progressive Congress. Since her redemption, she does not inflict hate on people who are not of her particular pigmentation.

We are ALL Xenophobes on one level or another. The excellent song from the Sesame Street-type Musical, Avenue Q, is instructive here:

We will never be completely trusting of everyone - it's not healthy nor genetically possible. But we can come to grips with our grossest natures and sublimate them for a healthier, freer, voluntarily polite society.

It HAS to be on purpose. Our own Senator has just pulled our chain. GOOD GRIEF! Is it permissible to call a sitting senator a dork?

Did you see Clyburn try to denigrate the failure of his party to listen to the American people, on Chris Wallace's Fox News Sunday. He spun the lie, with Wallace's help, that South Carolina is responding to the stimulus, when it's a fact that it has happened in spite of the pork-ladened bill. More depressing than that, though, was Chris Wallace's comment that his figures on the economy came from a non-partisan. Nevertheless, Jim was princely in his remarks, showing the true division between the arrogant status quo of his fascist party, and the common folks in his state. Mercy, he CAN read a script, though, can't he?

Just when you think things can't get any sillier, Obama says something that ventures even further into the land of the absurd.

Yesterday, the current resident of the White House, in his weekly, free propaganda time, actually said that the Republicans are keeping out of work people from receiving more free money. This prevarication is very instructive.

First of all, the very argument, that people should be given money by the state because they can't work, is illogical. It is a function of charities, and governments should not be in that business, unless, of course we don't want to be a federated republic of mostly autonomous states. But we've already discussed this several times.

Second, because some important people in our country's history pretended that we weren't a federated republic of mostly autonomous states, we have this rule that says businesses who hire people have to pay into a fund that the state uses to give to people who have been laid off, but not fired for cause. The idea is for the state to give them a few bucks - which isn't really enough to do anything but remind the laid off person that she or he doesn't have a job. It's supposed to help, but it never really does. Some argue that it's not really even a good system. As someone who has been "laid off" (twice - both times for refusing to do something unethical), I can attest to that argument.

Third, the Republicans DO want to continue the charade of giving money to people who have been laid off. They just want to use some of that pork in the already passed stimulus bill, so we don't go even further into debt by billions.

Fourth - so that leaves us with the conclusion that the only person standing in the way of more bucks for the unemployed is Obama, himself.

Is it any wonder that the poor man is losing whatever faith he had earned from the public? Yet his arrogance will not let him back down or admit any real error. Frankie Fox knows. He's been jabbing for a while with his Greek Tragedy take-offs.

Something unpredictable is happening up North. We've always known that Yankees take themselves way too seriously. But they just don't get it that states like South Carolina are way past them in race relations. Two examples.

We Swamp-dwellers love golf. And this year's British Open, so far, has been a true delight, thanks to Direct TV satellite service. They have a channel which is provided with the help of ESPN and the BBC. There are no advertising announcements allowed on this one channel, and it is mostly staffed by Brits, Scots, and Irish announcers who, naturally, use the word "gorse."

Understand, we're not beating up on Jim Nantz, who is a very good American golf announcer. The problem is that American sports announcers LOVE to PREDICT what's going to happen next. Without fail, not one of them has ever been right on their short-term predictions. You'd think they'd give up, but no, they keep being stupid, match after match. This also doesn't include Johnny Miller who almost sounds embarrassed by the clowns at NBC Sports. The kind of predictions he gives are cautionary and perfectly valid, rather than trying to predict what club or what swing or where the ball will go, as the other NBC clownouncers do.

So what is it that the European announcers do that make them so good? It's really simple, actually. They describe what's happening or what's just happened. But they, like Nantz and Miller, KNOW ENOUGH GOLF that the don't have to make jackwagons of themselves by trying to predict about the precious little they do understand. Prediction in sport is more than hubris, it's truly unnecessary if you know your subject.

I don't get a cent for saying this. Turn to channel 705, if you have Direct TV - no extra cost to subscribers such as we - and enjoy real sport with great announcers and a flare of accents on a historically accurate, and truly challenging, golf course.

And it will go back up. The Stock Market continues to move sideways. yesterday, it went down, but not as low as it will go or has been. Concerns about earnings and the fact that Congress is passing laws that actually haven't been written (and when they finally get it written, it's a horror.)

There is a great big fat lie which is being spread around by Progressives, who don't want to look as stupid as they are, that there wasn't enough regulation in this or that and THAT's why they passed such and such a law.

TWO POINTS - One - in every instance, from medical to banking, there WAS regulation. In every instance, the regulators were predominantly liberal or at least Progressives. When Bush tried to get rid of the bums and crooks, who, yes, were Progressives, look what happened: he was investigated!

Two - In every instance, what has replaced each regulator is a law that STILL is not completely written.

This is absurd, on the face of it. And the next time you hear a Progressive talking about bad regulation, just walk out. They are going to lie to you, and they have no other choice, since their actions are destructive to the republic.

It's so seductive.. The headline reads,"Need For Low Income Housing." And not a single line in the story about how this "low income housing" will be funded. What they don't say is that this is another slum in waiting, eventually paid for and maintained by your tax money.

While it is true that less expensive rental property - which is a different animal altogether - CAN be maintained by senior citizens, "Low Income" housing is not that. "Low Income" housing almost ALWAYS invites the leeches of society - poverty pimps, welfare surfers, and druggies. At the very least, they are filled with people who have nothing invested, personally, in the society from which they get their sustenance. Time after time, such "projects" fail and fail miserably, while increasing crime, increasing bastardy, and the degradation of the inhabitants. These are not just opinions, they are provably manifest facts.

Because the elected officials of cities in South Carolina don't want to be responsible for pushing really rotten ideas, they, more and more, are creating "quasi-political decision committees." Such committees are tacitly unworthy of creation and morally an escape from duty. They are the people who are allowing this kind of housing to go forward.

Did you see where Senator Lindsey Graham was grousing about people with libertarian ideals in the Republican Party? So he doesn't like Ronald Reagan?

Lindsey, Dude! If the government isn't going to do their job and enforce the dang law, SOMEBODY HAS TO, right? And let's face it, you have been a bit naive when it comes to "cooperating" with Progressives who act more like Satan, once you've given them what they want. My suggestion is to back off, don't give any interviews for a while, and then shun your false friends in the Jackwagon Party. Then absorb a few of those Reagan Tea Party ideals and renew yourself. Maybe. MAYBE, the people of our state will forgive you. Maybe. ¿Comprende?

Our friends in a Certain Upstate School District are trying their best to kill the only public education which works - read: Charter Schools and Home Schooling. After trying for years to get charter schools killed outright - and failing - now, they are going to charge a yearly $3,000 fee to use certain district school facilities. What the district fails to realize is that they EVERYBODY pays for ALL of the facilities. So they'll get sued, again, and lose, again, and waste more tax money and lumber down the road to the pit where people are confused and wonder, "how could things ever get this bad?".

The dufuses in that district really ought to read "Why Julian Can Read and Johnny Can't," an article in the Charleston News & Courier (now, Post & Courier) from the early 1970's.

Whoa! USC in Columbia has $4.8Million in Pru stock. According to The State, it seems Prudential stock was just sitting around. The story of why this is so is fascinating. But the real fun begins when you have to decide who gets the proceeds - The University or the employees who paid for the insurance which became stock?

To us, here in the swamp, the answer seems simple enough. Whoever actually contributed the funds gets the stock. If money was taken as an itemized amount from payroll checks, (It was a type of whole-life insurance in which the insured is vested in the company - we do know it was converted into stock when Prudential went public) then the stock should be divided among 1,100 employees who were in the program. If, on the other hand, the insurance was provided as an extra benefit, not deducted and itemized in a paycheck, the stock belongs to Carolina.

We're talking about close to $4,300 per employee. And, if you really want to get snippy, the employees, if owed, should get the value of the stock one week after the stock conversion, years ago, valued at that historical amount adjusted for inflation. The extra week would allow for receipt and sale of the stock at market prices. Or, get the stock with no taxes. All they would need to prove the result of this conundrum is a check stubb.

Frankly, we'd like Carolina to be the beneficiary - God knows the Anderson family has given them lots o bucks in the past. But if the money belongs to the employees, they should be the receptors.

The Goldman Sachs settlement with the SEC points up a systemic corruption in the so-called "regulation."

Bad number crunching. Seems Obama's people missed all those automobile industry layoffs. The actual job loss number is above 500,000 for the week. Check Dick Morris' numbers. He has the actual out of work number at somewhere near 25 Million!

The small investor is not in the market. People know that because the volume of shares sold and bought is not there. Some marketmakers are predicting more selling into the weak rally, which seems to have slowed.

BP is in charge of the Gulf Spill. Not the government. Yet, Obama is hoping that you'll think he's responsible for whatever progress is being made. Apparently, BP can get things done - they got al-Megrahe, the Locherbe bomber, freed.

HOLY MOLEY! Have you seen what's in the FINREG bill? It is so unconstitutional again, that it is breathtaking. Congress does not have the right to favor one group of common, voting shareholders over other groups of common, voting shareholders. AND it doesn't even mention FNMA and FHLMC - the causes of the blowout and recession!

And, can you believe Olympia Snow? She really did vote for the unconstitutional FINREG bill? Are she and her yankee Republican cohorts insane? or just terminally dumb? None of this will prevent another meltdown. But it will put our tax dollars in big banker's pockets. Good Grief!

Bastille Day! This is the day the French took our good idea and rode it into the sunset. They took the idea of a representative republic made up of separate states and changed it into a democracy. The majority ruled, and people died. It ALWAYS happens in a democracy. It's called the tyranny of the majority. Oh, they had a bill of human rights, but Jefferson overdid himself and the French misunderstood and voted money to the masses. Inflation ensued and the republic was quickly replaced with a dictator. And after him, came the deluge. France never recovered. They still strut and talk about human rights, but they never got past fascism, collectivism, and limited success, all because they didn't start out with that quelquechose vraiment speciale Americaine. D'accord?

It's not for nuthin that it's also my anniversary. The gracious and wonderfully beautiful Elizabeth granted this poor frog a smooch and pulled him from the swamp 26 years ago. I am very leery of people who gush about their wives - normally- in most cases - they're just saying what's expected of them. So, I'm not gonna gush. But I will say this. You will never know how wonderful it is to have this woman, this pure Southern Lady, this sword of fortitude to have as your bride. She is my best friend and I am hers. I tell people that this is my second marriage, but Elizabeth is my first real wife. Deo Gratia!

Those of us who do, please let us pray for our friends who do not have great marriages that they may rediscover the joys they once enjoyed. A good wife is a true blessing - a good husband in these climes is a miracle.

The really silly part of it is that they're having to lie in order to score their points. Almost everyone knows of Andrew Breitbart's challenge to provide proof of racial epithets being hurled by Tea Party members at African Americans. So far, no-one has taken him up on the $100,000 challenge. The longer they go without proving their claims, the more they enforce the image of their silliness. Talk about desperate poverty pimps!

The only thing the NAACP hasn't done, now, to prove they are terminally silly, is to have servants following the association members, clapping half coconut husks together.

When a fixed industry cannot escape an overabundance of federal regulation and/or federal monies, it dies. In any case it's dead as far as that place it's in. Look at West Virginia. Robert Byrd federalized West Virginia into 48th from 30th in just about everything, and they have had BILLIONS of dollars more than any Southern state poured into it. There's a western state that is trying to keep a business from moving to another state, LEGALLY! They can't really do it, but the company isn't big enough to fight it in court, so you can bet they'll be leaving the country as soon as they can.

Scott Adams is the brilliant cartoonist who created and maintains the cartoon, Dilbert. Sometimes, his characters act out in cartoonland truths which ring true in reality. The cartoon for Sunday, July 11th (today) is one such creation.

All that we'll say about it is that the current resident of the White House is symbolically writ large in it.

Did you see where another "prince" of the state political system has been grousing about why people rejected him in the recent primaries. This time, it's Fourth Congressional District Congressman, Bob Inglis. In an article picked up by the AP, he laments that the people were somehow fooled into voting against him because of talk radio. The article quotes him as parroting what Lindsey Graham has said - that the Tea Party movement will eventually fade away and that people will "come to their senses" and realize the "mistake" they have made in not letting him go back to what amounts to "his" seat. If ever there were an example of Lord Acton's Axiom brought to life, it would be in the life of a politician. Is that what we have here? Did Bob "stay too long in Rome?" Someday, maybe, we'll know.

The old saying goes that the Federal Reserve is a joke that only bankers can afford to laugh at. But when the jokewriters are people like Rep. Maxine Waters, D-CA, it becomes a dirty joke. Will Rogers also said that when Congress makes a joke, it's a law. Put the three together and you get a law that everybody laughs at.

Seriously, just to show how post-racial we all are, Waters has placed in the so-called "Bank Reform Act" tens of "Equality Czars" whose job it will be to make sure non-whites, non-males, and non-straights will be given bank preference over white, male, heterosexuals. When we warned about the fascist enforcement of econofascist laws, some just pooh-poohed us. Well, here it is, in real, live, and living color.

When someone tells you that something causes something, especially when it comes to medicine, don't believe until you've found out for yourself. We started asking around about mesothelioma - the disease that is "caused" by asbestos - and found out a curious thing. There are only three studies that were performed in 2005 on which ALL the courtroom shenanigans are based. Two of the studies do not include ANY actual laboratory work at all. The other study which is used, and one which is not used (that makes four) use what is called "metadata" or data which is assumed to be useful, but does not actually have anything to do with the subject being researched.

You humble editor has led the fight against metadata and its misuse in scientific research because to ends up in the conclusions from otherwise honest researchers. Conclusions such as "cigarettes cause cancer," "alar causes cancer," and the new claim, "asbestos causes cancer (malignant mesothelioma)." This is highly disturbing.

As you know, cigarettes CAN cause cancer in people who CAN get cancer. But there has never been any conclusive laboratory evidence that they will universally cause cancer. Alar can only cause cancer in someone who is terminally allergic to alar, which is only one or two people per million. There are more children born with cancer than get a cancerous reaction to Alar, a pesticide.

Then there's asbestos. Hold onto your seat. To date, there is no specific tie to cancer in the same manner that there is no specific tie to cigarettes. This fact has been withheld from the public in general because of the link between civil action and science. Initially, even though there are past medical data errors, we would be as guilty as the bad scientists, if we said asbestos only causes cancer in people who can get cancer from asbestos. It's like Androgenic Global Warming. The asbestos/cancer numbers look punk, but there are no defining data on cause on asbestos and cancer, its diagnosis, and/or its specific treatment.

All of this is available on the net. If we run across anything that disagrees with this IN A SCIENTIFIC WAY, we will let you know the truth about asbestos. Until then, keep asking questions, and remember, we have an entire agency, the EPA, which is dedicated to pseudo-science and uses the worst kind of political bullying to reinforce their weary, non-scientific arguments.

Do you believe, now, that Barack Obama is a fascist when it comes to the economy? Worse, still, he is showing himself a fascist in enforcement, too. You'll also recall that we warned you, several times, that he would create de facto reparations for slavery, if not bridled from his ideas.

There is only custom, however, standing between recision and complete reversal of ALL the fascist bills passed by the Congress and signed by the current resident in the White House.

As if this were not enough, he is laughing in our faces with the help of his trained jackbooted Attorney General, Eric Holder. The pass on black on white racial crimes (there are more than the Chicago intimidation case) is not just an in your face giggle for Obama. It is designed to elicit a racial response in people of European heritage. Three years ago, we warned you that Yankees, who do not understand how to keep quiet, having never lost a war, would eventually take up arms, and that this would give Obama the excuse to declare martial law, everywhere.

Remember that Ceasar Augustus (Octavian) only needed two specific actions to become Imperator, Princeps, and Head of the Equites. it took only two hundred years of dumb ideas piled one on the other, but only two years to make the change that counted. WE ARE THERE. The office of President has enough power, and the Senate and House are so elastic, that Obama can ENFORCE his will, REGARDLESS of what the Court says.

Personally, I reject ANY declaration or privilege or justice or injustice based on the amount or lack thereof of melanin in a person's skin. If we are post-racial, then we are POST racial.

What is a "stub-quote," anyway? It's a quote that a market maker (the guys who do the actual stock trading) will give if a stock appears to be dying. Sometimes, it can be breathtakingly smaller than the current stock price. It's his only way of making sure, HE doesn't go under, so that there is a free flow of stocks and enough cash to follow the stocks that aren't dying. It is a practice which solves its own problems in the open market, and, is itself, a device which regulates the market away from bum stocks. It is a true, free market device. Naturally, the Obama administration is just stupid enough to want to end the practice.

Not realizing that supply and demand is not necessarily an expression of greed, is a real problem for a group of Utopians and Progressives. Since they are hide-bound idealists, whose foundation is based on the worst sort of logic and lack of science, they recklessly make assumptions which are toxic to freedom and free markets. Just another reason to vote the Progressives out, wherever they may be. For our part, we will point out the inconsistencies and lies as best we can, but there are so, so many.

According to Hollywood Deadline, James Cameron will gross $350M, personally, for his spectacular movie, Avatar. That is, we THINK he'll get it. Actually, he isn't going to get half of that. And he doesn't even benefit from the Bush Taxcuts, like the rest of us paupers do - until January. Between the California AND New York and Federal taxes, he will have to pay 97% of what he's making. Let's see.. 3% of $350 Million..

One more trip down memory lane - John Maynard Keynes was a subject of Great Britain - the economic and military Giant of the 19th Century. As long as GB remained THE military power, his formulas worked. Unfortunately, he died before Britain "got small," as they say. He did not get to see the catastrophe that his ideas caused, when the Brits finally had to make the Pound Sterling "pay." It took a Margaret Thatcher to undo decades of economic stupidity, which had postponed, not fixed, the temporary depressions. That's happening here. now. The New Deal, The Fair Deal, The War on Poverty, ALL have only POSTPONED the inevitable. We cannot vote money to private individuals. It's suicide. But we have, and now we must stop.

Saving Teacher's Jobs - It sounds so heroic, doesn't it? And it is, as long as no-one asks the question, "Who's Teaching Job?" In Jamie Dupree's excellent column for July 2nd, you get the feeling the money is being harked up by Progressives because of Big Teacher Unions. Which brings me to another thought..

Knowing how many administrators have been added to public schools over the past 20 years, and what a drag they have become on the actual process of education, as they perpetuate their phoney-baloney jobs, it is no wonder that they say "teachers" will lose jobs. Since THEY (administrators) are certainly not going to fire themselves, they have little or no qualms about firing the two to four lowly teachers who are actually doing a service for the students.

This is NOT an exaggeration. Education in South Carolina has no effective, functioning union and yet, it is so bloated, it defies explanation. What State Education DOES have are legislators, such as Cobb-Hunter, who, while pretending to legislate for the betterment of the state, merely fills important teaching positions with people who will "holler in her corner." This is more than an embarrassment. This is one of the reasons that our State budget threatens to be in the red every year.

We can take an important cue from colleges and charter schools - cut out 2/3rds of the "administration," and you can literally save millions. Naturally, this will destroy much of the power of many poverty pimps in the State legislature, but that might have a salutary effect.

Remember when we told you that the drug companies, like all large corporations, might want a health care program, because it would codify their profits into law? Well, it seems to be true as the biggest druggies released a huge ad campaign in Nevada aimed at keeping the creepy Harry Reid in power. Some of the things they are saying are simply untrue. Most of the rest of it is a penny's worth of truth and a pound of pig fat. But what can they really say, anyway, that isn't false in some way or another? On the other hand, there is no law that says you can't lie in a political campaign. Also, we know that the Progs have sent out the attack squads to sully anybody who opposes them this season. These are people who will stretch any truth into unrecognizability. They know now that they have nothing to run on except bullying and falsehoods and failure.

There IS excitement in the World Cup! No, not the action, soccer is boring, unless you're the kind of person who needs a sport you really don't have to pay attention to. No, It's Paulie the Octopus. Seems the cephalopod has a 100% accuracy rate when it comes to picking the winners in the contests. And we all agree! Watching an octopus pick winning soccer teams is far more interesting than actually watching the games, themselves.

Now, watch it go down. The stock market, that is. If the market really is afraid profit takers should be in the market in the next couple of days. It did close above 10,000 today, and those guys are VERY superstitious. One thing is sure: the real investors, the moms and pops, are NOT in the market,

Obama has every right to make a recess appointment. Every President in recent history has done it. That he is hurrying along the process which steals from the old and robs from the rest, his medical destruction agenda, is troublesome in the extreme. I realize that he is trying to flood the bureaucracy with thousands of new people, so that when the time comes to end this madness, it will look like thousands will lose jobs. That however is exactly what will have to happen. The only real question left to America is, do we have the guts to do it?

SIDEWAYS.. everybody's guessing which way the market's going to go. The answer is, "SIDEWAYS." Yeah, it will probably going down into the 8,000's, and it will test 10,000 again. Because it can. If earnings dipped in the last quarter, you can count on it going down. If earnings were up, and projections are good, the market will go up, but not so far up that investors will not sell into the surge. The result will be a sideways market.

The truth is pathetic - the South (and we include some western states and any state which does not give ascendency to unions) has money. The Unionized states don't have any. With the new laws which steal money from the private sector to transfer it to non-producer, the South will be hurt and recovery will be delayed. In the Unionized & Northern states, there is NO MONEY with which to create the required econofascist fantasy. As the Free Labor and Southern states continue to grow slowly, the jealous Unionized Northern states will demand "equality."

Many businesses in the South are already looking at the possibility of moving to a freer country. The only problem is that the US of A is still the freest. All of this, for decent historians is, as we have said for six years, a strong echo from the 1840's. What other choice do patriotic businesses have, when their own government will not play by the written rules?

And don't forget that the Bush Tax cuts will be gone unless something changes by January 1. In effect, it will create the largest tax increase on the middle class since Roosevelt's screwup of the economy in the 1930's.

The Transportation Safety Agency has had some internet sites blocked from their computers. No kidding. Especially sites which have opposition opinion. That's according to CBS News, no less. Apparently, Homeland Security doesn't want those people to hear anything contrary to their wrong-headed ideas.

Yankees - ya gotta love 'em. It's hot. They rarely have a summer as hot as ours gets. But they've got one this year. Even hotter than ours by some 5-10 degrees. Yes, the air down here is cooler. It will change, again, but as long as there are volcanoes, there is going to be wildly differentiated weather patterns at various times over various continental areas. Luckily, according to some scientists, the human animal cannot differentiate between 100° and 110° - and higher, if he or she is gradually acclimated. The old song is instructive, here - "It's Too Darned Hot," any way you cut it.

No-one actually believes SecDef Gates, when he says the muzzle on the media isn't a reaction to the McChrystal fiasco. But the fact that the Obama administration is trying to micromanage the war, and failing terribly at it, demands that they can't afford to have . the generals tell the truth to the media. It is eerily similar to the way the Progressives screwed up the Vietnam War.

It was good to see both of our Senators on TV, Sunday morning. We see far too much of Lindsey and not enough of Jim.

Vice President Biden finds it "delicious" that he could deliver an address on freedom in one of Saddam Hussein's palaces. He found it ironic, too. I find it ironic that a man who fought the successful Bush surge plan, tooth-and-nail, was able to take over the program and claim it for his own. Call it arrogance, call it hubris, but don't call it "your" victory, Mr. Vice President. I'm not married to George Bush. But, he did some very good things. One of them was the clean and honest way he fought the war. No, Mr. Vice President, Iraq is His win. It is yours and Obama's LEAST of all.

Abraham Lincoln was a snake. But it is the privilege of the Almighty to use the lowly and low-acting to create His miracles. One was the abolishment of slavery, one was this speech. In the end, literary scholars are correct - it doesn't matter what sort of person creates the art, it is the art, itself, which remains and is judged on its own. What makes it so extraordinary is that the mind, which was so accustomed to long, often devious, elaborate schemes, created such truth in such succinctness.

Let's get one thing clear - NONE of the government programs have worked, INCLUDING TARP. Bush was wrong. Obama was wrong, Keynes was wrong. Got it?

Saving the big banks was supposed to keep the money flowing to small banks. It didn't. Saving the big banks was supposed to make money flow to small businesses. It didn't. Saving FNMA and FHLMC was supposed to make them stronger. It didn't. Yet most honest borrowers have survived and most honest banks have survived. Some private businesses have even come back a little. So none of it was needed. Yes, we would have lost 100,000 bank jobs, but big banking is a skill common to most liars and thieves and so can be utilized in many other types of work, such as NPR, congressional oversight committees, the MAFIA, global warming statistics gathering, census workers, and MSNBC.

Let's all say it together, "TARP DID NOT WORK."

I know I disagree with Charles Krauthammer on this, but I believe he is in error about this. He would argue that it did work. He did say, to his credit, that it could have been done far cheaper than it was.

Now, take this failure of the Bush Administration and add it to the other abysmal failures of the Progressives (yes, they were ALL FOR TARP), and you have a total of $3 Trillion wasted in less than 2 years! Now that the stimulus hasn't worked, as we predicted it would not, and we are left with the bill, what do we do? Anybody who's been reading this column for any time at all will tell you they know.

Right now, the one thing that would solve a lot of problems is to end the Federal Reserve.

Is it just me or does the guy in the Sargento cheese commercials sound like Kermit the Frog? I'd probably be more likely to buy Sargento products if they actually used Kermit as their sales person. There is nothing of its kind better than Kraft Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp Cheese in the red brick package.

So Lindsey says he's not gay. Who cares? We don't care whom he takes to bed. Most of us would like for him to just be straight with the conservatives and libertarians of his state. He also needs to realize that a goodly portion of the Tea Party movement is composed of Latinos and African-Americans. THEY don't want a moderate. They want a fire-breathing, blood-thirsty conservative who will keep government out of their lives. The TEA PARTY movement IS beyond race and sexuality and creed and previous origin. When we let people be what they are then we can be, under liberty, what we want to be. But we're also beyond "Moderate" when it comes to Progressive-style econofascism.

Joe Bastardi is predicting that we may be in for some really chilly weather world-wide from here on until at least next spring. Maybe even much longer. It's a pattern that we saw back in the mid 90's after Mount Pinatubo erupted. It, too, was preceded by a La Niña. Yes, it's been hot here, and it will be a little warmer here than the rest of the world, but it should still be very chilly here, this winter. Joe also predicts that we will see the ice NOT melt next summe. The volcanoes are there, and La Niña is there, and you know about Joe's batting average when it comes to reading pattern averages. Get your longies out. Just sayin'.

Please remember that we warned about this so called "Obama" recovery - that it would do exactly what the Roosevelt recovery did - stall the recovery and make it so slow that it was WWII that got us out of the "great" depression. Whatever growth there will be, until the November election, will happen IN SPITE OF the current administration.

Thank YOU, Nancy Pelosi, for proving that you are a complete moron. Your statement about unemployment insurance payments being a stimulus to job creation is so laughable, it defies irony. It's like a punch-line to a dirty fiscal joke. Frédéric Bastiat's "broken window fallacy" is real - there's no real incentive to create jobs - it is, instead, as Bastiat said, "le coût au commerçant." (the cost [for the broken window] to the shopkeeper [read: taxpayer] [is not considered]).

What there is, is fear. Nobody knows what the government is going to screw up next. There are a few people who are betting things will get better no matter what the current amateurs in power do. They're the ones who keep the market going sideways. As people continue to lose faith or continue being confused with the economy, they sell. The "in-spiters" then buy. So far, they've lost billions of dollars in private wealth. And the market moves sideways.

There's only one way to fix it. You know that. People like Jim DeMint HAVE TO BE ELECTED. He has the fortitude to write bills which will RESCIND the errors of the past three and a half years. Progressives like Kent Conrad of Minnesota must be sent home, they are moral cowards, transferring debt to your GRAND-children, so they can placate their homeys.

Rush Limbaugh is my delayed doppelgänger. That is, he thinks and says things which I think and say, but he does it about 6 hours later. Back in 1989, someone asked me why I believed what Rush Limbaugh said. I had no idea what he was talking about.

Where I lived, at the time, I listened to all news radio via shortwave from a station out of New York City. It was, literally ALL NEWS, no opinion at all. It was boring, but you could keep up. Anyway, another local station had just switched over to something called "talk" radio, and a guy named Limbaugh was featured at noon. Never heard of him. My ideas were my own. Then I started listening.

It was eerie - like listening to me with a slightly higher pitch. He could have been my

spiritual double. He thought my thoughts. He didn't say them as politely as I did, but he said them. Eventually, about 20 years later, I have come to the belief that this jolly curmudgeon is six hours slower than I am. That's business hours, please. I'll think something and, sure enough, Rush will say it about six business hours later.

It's really creepy. Sometimes I'll think something, and then say to myself, "No! No! that's too rude!" Sure enough, six business hours later, sometimes, almost to the minute, it comes out of my radio, grossness and all.

I ask you, my reader, how do I charge him a royalty for my original ideas? I can't. It's ok, though, because, at least ALL of my ideas are getting out. Plus, I don't get blamed for the really wicked thoughts I have when really, really stupid stuff happens. And that's what counts.

In the mouth of a true patriot, the words on the Statue of Liberty ring true. In the mouth of Barack Obama, they ring hollow.

Still, using children to gin up sympathy to promote a corrupt immigration policy, is almost pornographic. It's like saying the heirs of thieves are entitled to the ill-gotten goods. If Obama's policies become law, we, American citizens, will permanently lose 12 million jobs. The number will have risen to an estimated 30 million jobs in 15 years, because of the offspring of these miscreants.

The savage and ironical logic of the situation makes us ALL wince. We are Christians and Jews, for the most part, and we believe in charity. "How can we treat children in this manner?" we all say. Even if this is an attack on capitalism by the progressives, the situation is redeemable. And we will end this intollerable theft of our wealth and the cheating of children by these wicked, illegal parents.

In January, 2011, when the new congress is sworn in and all of the errors of the past four years (remember the Progressive takeover of congress in 2006?) have been reversed, then we will force the resident of the White House to cease and desist. We can, then, put him under house arrest, per the constitution, using the accommmodations clause, send troops to the border and THEN.. THEN grant whatever immunity we wish to confer on whomever we choose. The preceding was sheer fantasy. It will NEVER happen. We are, in fact, doomed.

Why are we doomed? Because the Tea Party movement, which IS real and IS necessary and DOES REFLECT the true sentiments of American citizens, is also divisive and will give Progressives that small edge they need to weasel into office, in the fall. Once Progressives return to Washington, the critical balance of producers to non-producers will be complete as more people will either not work or be dependent on government for work or a hand-out than have private sector jobs or businesses. And that will be it.

I'm not suggesting that people vote for a Republican just because - that would be as stupid as the people of Rock Ridge

rejecting Sheriff Bart because he was black.

What we need to do - what we MUST do - is to be as wiley as the swamp fox. We must vote for the person who will stop this madness. That's NOT going to be a Progressive, if they pretend to be responsible at all, THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! No, you need to vote for the (R) or the (I) or even the (L).

We now have a tax which applies only to Crackers. Yes, Whitey must pay, now, in order to get a tan. If you hear a legislator say that this is not true, then ask your Asian friend when was the last time she went to a tanning booth. If they put a special tax on palm-aid, Jesse Jackson, bless his tortured soul, would be screaming all over the lame-stream media. Now don't worry, according to the rules of anti-social address, since I am a Scottish-Irish-French Protestant-Welsh-American, I can use the words "Cracker," "Whitey," "Honkie," "Paleface," "Tinker," "Fenian," "Peckerwood," "Charlie," "Pinkboy," "Fishbelly," "Canuck," "Frog," "Paddywacker," "Free Stater," "Cutpurse," "Bog," "Cheese-eating surrender monkey," "Goy," "Shiksa," "Gai-jin," "Teuchter," "Goober," "Pikey," "Barney Fife," "Haole ," "Jockie," "Tim," "Mick," "Redneck," "Roundeyes," "white-eyes," "Blue-eyed devil," "Sassenach ," "Sawney," "Seppo," "Schkutzim," "Taffy," "Taig," "Pig," and, of course "Rebel."
