(The Swamp) - Sitting here, listening to the "sellout" ammendment to the health bill,
we have decided that Progressives think you are stupid.
This is not some kind of jibe at the party of the far left. It is an empirical conclusion based
on historical actions.
Over the past few weeks, the phrase, "Once the American people find out what is really
in this bill," has been repeated at least as many times as each Progressive in congress has been
interviewed. Inevitably, however, once people find out even the intentions of the latest bills
on Climate Change, Government Health Programs (called "reform"), Jobs, Bailouts, or just
plain spending bills, they recoil. The more Americans learn about the ideas and ideals of
the current occupant of the white house and his minions in the Congress, the less they like
it.
Nevertheless, with every report that Progressives are headed in the exact opposite direction
the country wishes them to go, they take even more entrenched positions.
Now, their leaders believe they have enough votes to destroy medicine in America not only in
the practice and research areas but also in increasing litigation and costs. What is being
brewed between the House and Senate Progressives is nothing less than monstrous - five bills
which will guarantee the redistribution of wealth from the producers to the non-producers.
And the people of America, as they discover what is in those five bills realize that they are
based on the worst kind of logic, science, ideas, and ideals. But the Progressives do not
believe Americans are smart enough to know what is good for them. They are acting just
like their companion shadows in the Episcopal church, who have long deserted their congregations and
the scripture on which they were founded, saying that the poor congregation members simply
do not understand what is best for them.
In other words, those who do not agree with them are not smart enough to even question their
progressive ideas. ie., you are stupid.. AND you will forget these calumnies by
election day, 2010.
If any of these five bills - union building, Government regulated health care, Cap and Trade,
unlawful immigration, or bailouts - become actuated, functioning law, there is only one way to fight them,
until November 2010: we must file every possible lawsuit to stall the implementation of
the arrogant Progressive DIKTATs. This is most important in the case of the bailout monies
that are unspent, and to some that already have been spent.
Also, any candidate who will not swear to rescind any law which infringes ownership and
personal freedom should be replaced by someone who will.
The world is not perfect, and we must defeat anyone who thinks it can be made better by
almost any act of government.
