OEDIPUS' SENATE COMPLEX
The Progressive's Health Bills - An Unfolding Greek Tragedy.

November 22, 2009

(The Swamp - This isn't going to be very long, mainly because everything that can be said about the health bill, in its current forms, has, pretty much, already been said. Both the House and the Senate versions are garbage which will increase federal spending and produce deficits of 2.1 and 3.6 trillions, respectively, over the next 12 years - and that's even with the 10% increase in middle class taxes.

What is so fascinating about this devolving scenario by Obama & his puppeteers is the moebius loop of stupidity with which liberals have ensnared themselves.

Now hopelessly committed to this perversion of good will and charity, the majority in Congress has persuaded itself that the greatest number of America's citizens are either stupid or delusional. Somehow, they rationalize, the largest majority in history really wants Congress to take care of them - that they must be told how to act and what to eat and when to be healed, and finally, when to die.

I liken these monolithic hand-puppets in Congress to the movie Dead Man Walking. They're dead, politically, they know they're dead, but they continue to play out this soulless mummery in a danse macabre, which increases in bizarreness and cupidity, the closer they get to the passage of this manure heap.

Members of this suicidal group congratulate themselves on passage of each step, as if to say, "Look, America! A technicality makes us victorious! You MUST NEED us. And you will have all you need."

They will go home over the holidays. Their constituents will protest. And instead of heeding the warnings, they will betray their senses and eschew the people.

It is a Greek Tragedy like Oedipus Tyrhannos.

In the end, that which made them victorious will make them blind and execrated, as they are made to realize, come November 2010, they have committed murder and incest upon the American producers of wealth and freedom.

Keep your metaphoric powder dry, as we continue the political battle. We have a long row to hoe.
