(The Swamp) - Somebody's lying.
According to the Vice President, he's never seen a recovery this complete, this fast. According to the unemployment numbers, more than 15% of our workforce is out of a job. We had another month of decreasing sales numbers. Housing numbers are no longer falling precipitously, but the number of new houses being built isn't increasing. We're still finding the stench of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd in the guts of bad government-mandated loans affecting small banks around the country. The stock market is trading sideways - that is, it goes up a bit and then retraces its gains. It's great if you're trading options, but for not much else - it's a vulture's game.
The evidence seems to be favoring the skeptics of the Administration. We were promised that we would not hit 10% unemployment, if we shelled out all that stimulus money. We're way past that. The old media says it's 9.8% unemployment, but they're not counting the number of people whose unemployment money has run out, or the people who've never applied for unemployment. These numbers are worse than the number of people out of work in the darkest days of the Reagan Recovery - that painful time when we had to slave our way out of the hyper-inflation/stagflation mire created by the scandalously stupid Jimmy Carter.
To be fair, W was duped by the Federal Reserve chairman into believing their make-believe system needed propping up. That money, if used at all, should have been used to prop up the citizens savings in each bank AS it became the victim of the aforementioned Dodd/Frank government housing scam. They're having to do it anyway, and it makes a mockery of our country which funded their wasteful exercise.
Now, the same people who caused our banks to fail are trying to kill our medical system. This statement is not an emotional response - it is an undeniable fact. For the medical needs of fewer than one percent of our population, we are going to ruin our country as a going concern.
So, somebody's lying.
Either the country is in good shape or it isn't. Either the Federal Reserve has perpetrated
a fraud on the country or it hasn't. Either the Progressives are responsible for the failure
of hundreds of small banks or they aren't. Either the country survives or we have a murderous
medical system. Either we have already begun experiencing hate-based de facto reparations
and reverse racism, or we have not.
You make your own decision.
It is entirely possible that there is only one way to make things right: elect people in 2010
who have the guts, not only to stop this ruinous spending, but also to reverse the policies,
wholesale, of this moronic Progressive tyranny. We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to our
children. We owe it to our founding fathers' dream of freedom, true equality, and self-reliance.
