The "Excited" Few
Progressive Apologists Are Polluting The Media With More Falsities and Insults..

(The Swamp) - Reading about the complete failure of the Obamarama at the United Nations this past week on the Washington Post web site was truly worth it. The article was fair enough for a liberal publication. Mostly, the comments are the reason for the reading. It was, as usual, a rewarding enterprise.

It's hard to tell whether the poster, who styled himself "clearspt," is one of the professional pr people, hired by friends of the Obama administration - there are also people who comment and blog for free for both sides. If he's not getting paid, they should pay him.

He wrote: "Obama's just too cool to be rattled by Pimps & Quaker Oafs.
The guy's friggin' Batman, I swear. Flush those Grand Obstructive Poops !
Ping: Iran outflanked at the UN.
Donk: First Health Care Bill in American History.

The enthusiasm that this person has, in this chop-piece, is reminiscent of the eagerness of the sadists of the Spanish Inquisition. Careful reading will reveal many, many errors in both fact and logic. Yet, this same person - probably a young product of some public education system - is obviously a product of his time: the comic book generation. Notice the "Batman" reference and comic book noises he uses to punctuate his ideas. Every single epithet he uses is carefully lifted from the Progressive Envy Playbook. It is also interesting to note that insults are used as arguments.

A critique of the piece would have to begin at the first mistatement. Iran hasn't been outflanked. The former Soviet Union is still very much in the back pocket of Iran. China also is in Iran's corner. The actual outrage has come from the French and the British. Obama punted.

A nationalized health care bill may be passed, but it will most probably be neutered, or at the very least postponed. A nationalized health care bill certainly hasn't been passed.

Star Wars works. It has been made less effective by the current administration because they are not servicing our missiles and new missile research is not being done with any real commitment.

The Supreme Court is not repaired. Obama's first attempt at filling the shoes of giants is a mid-level intellect, which is apparently enough these days, to get a PhD. Actually, is IS what you would expect from someone without a lot of experience, or understanding.

The fact that this young person actually thinks that Obama's looming trade war with China is "protection," eloquently shows the intellectual dishonesty of the people who provided his "talking points." China owns a large portion of our debt. They are only afraid that we could effectively retaliate, militarily, were they to ask for payment in full. They're not ready for that, and they're not sure Obama isn't, either.

There are no more infrastructure projects this year than there were any year under the Bush Administration.

Better fuel economy standards as compared to what? CAFE standards were relaxed because of the recession. And, as much as I hate to say it, Americans don't like the electric car that's being produced by the major car dealers (who are still stuck between their oil company stockholders and their oppressive unions.). The whole point of making electric cars was to make moot the price of a fluctuating oil market. Instead, they're just using the electric car to meet CAFE standards and insuring that few will purchase one by charging outrageous prices for it. It will insure that people will buy Canadian when it comes to an electric vehicle.

Brutal banking regulations? Really? If that's so, then why can't we find out how the banking money is being spent?

The rest of the statement simply contains more insults and outright contradictions of fact.

You get the idea.

Anyway, as Obama continues to crash into the sunset, expect more lies and half-truths propelled by energetic and willing people who are struggling with the fact that they have picked a grey mare to back.

It is also instructive. Those who want to have the truth and not a "patch of blue sky," need to show up at the polls in a year, a month, and a week from now.
