(The Swamp) - Dangerous conservatives? Unruly mobs? Brooks Brothers wastrels? Flyover clowns? Stupid commoners? Brain on hold?

?!?!?!

Every single one of these epithets has been hurled at the inhabitants of "flyover country" - that's what they're calling you and me.

I'm not going to talk about the lunacy of the left or the ridiculous silliness of their comments and slurs. What needs saying right now is that all of this lying by the current administration and their faithful lapdogs is symptomatic of panic.

When a normal person is proven wrong, he will mourn for his loss of advantage and then, motivated by good will and reason, move on to a more solid point of view. An arrogant person will continue to profess his errant position, even in the face of people with contrary facts and sincere passion. An insane person will not know the difference.

One thing, however, that the arrogant celebrities (for so our politicians and followers see themselves) are right about, is that the rage against their arrogance IS getting organized. No doubt about it. People in every state are using the internet, using phone trees, using friendly meetings to get together to plan protests of the wickedness of Congress.

The celebs have even asked their minions to spy on people they perceive as their political enemies. This is not an interpretation. This is not a fantasy. This is THE PRESIDENT, ON HIS BLOG, saying he wants people to turn in those who are trying to defeat his spendthrift programs.

Our government is acting as if it were some two-bit banana republic. What, now, is the real difference between these outrages and those of Il Duce in the 1930's? Any?

Remember the article I wrote some time ago about how liberals cannot, because of their own philosophy, tell the truth? Liberalism doesn't work, no matter whether they call themselves Moderates or Progressives or Liberals. They lied about the threat of communism in the 50's. They lied about the risk of terrorism to the US. They lie.

I have no organization for you to join. I don't have a political position to defend. I would like you to recognize that Jim DeMint has been fighting lefty lunacy a lot longer than most of us have and should be rewarded by us, accordingly. But as surely as if I did have a political position to defend, I IMPLORE you to find somebody who is a like-minded person (Lord knows, there are enough of you, out there) and join with them to show up at a town hall or other political meeting.

Let them call us "tea-baggers," or "bigots," or any of a hundred names. Let them lie on NBC or CBS or ABC about our motives and direction. Let them lie. But show up. Throw it back in their faces.
