(Down Mexico Way) - HEY, gals & guys - do you know what's going on down
below Big River? Well, besides the fact that your federal government is too chicken
to protect the over 300 people who've been kidnapped - and prosecutes those who
defend themselves from robbery, rape, murder, and kidnapping by banditos
- the Mexican government, itself, is about to fold.
Now, aside from the fact that a tenth of that country's citizens now live within
their northern neighbor's borders, along with their cousins from other Spanish -
speaking climes, what are we going to do when the rest of them try to visit, to get
away from the drug lords who will be taking over? It IS a real possibility.
You've heard Glen Beck talk about this outrage. And, unless you're watching Fox
News - local or cable - you also don't know that those friendly latino drug emissaries
are already firing large guns and small canons across El Rio Grande at our
border patrol folks. No Kidding!
Don't think you're not effected, just because you live in South Carolina, either. Berea isn't
pronounced buh-REE-uh any more, ya know. The necks are no longer red in
Dentsville (except for those who drive those peace-sign cars). Morning-Talk is
being replaced by spanglish between the historic row-houses of Charleston. Most
of these people are not here on their own dime - the large majority are not the
possessors of cartas verdes.
What do we do?
Here's a plan. If the Mexican gobernmiento is as corrupt as we think, why don't
we just buy the dang country from the Presidente and his parliament?
Why not? Everybody loves Cancun. The real Mexicans are mostly
hard-working religious, conservative, patriotic, nifty people. The country is beautiful.
And it would give a longer coastline and even better access to the Gulf oil fields
for Obama and the Progressives to ignore.
Owning Mexico would give us several more states, and we can start creating real
jobs in a real country for these folks. Plus, the new southern border would be much
easier to defend. To get rid of the drug banditos, we can enforce the second amendment,
and give the peones the right to carry.
Come to think of it, why don't we buy Mexico? Certainly, South Carolinians can
scrape up the bucks to buy the place. And our farmers can buy land from the locals,
and their workers will already be there, right? And think of all the people Our
Governor can control and boss around! After all, this will give him a chance to make nice
with the illegal Mexicans who are already here that he's been ignoring so far. Of
course, we'll probably have to decriminalize peyote and marijuana, but no progress
is made without sacrifice, ¿verdad?
OK, OK.. I'm being facetious about buying Mexico. But while the Progressives
in Washington are busy, feasting on our children's inheritance, thinking their profligate
spending spree will save the union-bled Northern states' pitiful economies, they
are ignoring the fact that we no longer have a viable southern border. And it's
their fault, now.
