(America) - The clock is ticking. The "Joke," as Will Rogers called Congress' laws, is a fact - passed by Progressives (The Three Blind Mice are not Republicans, unless you define "moderate" as "politically suicidal." I'll explain in a later editorial.)

Now, the American People will be judging as this silly stimulus fails. And there is no doubt that it will.

Look for the following tell-tale signs of failure:

• Russia, backed by China, threatens US dominance in one or more areas of the world - the US "enters into talks."
• A major Islamicist terror strike will be called "a domestic disturbance."
• Jobs will not be created in the private sector after a year, and the administration will call the recession "more serious than we possibly thought."
• A massive, independent sale of US bonds on the open market at 10 cents on the dollar will be puzzled at by Congress and the President, not realizing that this was set up by the current profligate spending bill.
• The second half of the TARP money, being passed by the Progressive-controlled Congress will be squirrelled away by the same people who hid the first half.
• As the recession worsens from continued foreclosures and "Mark to Market" continues, the Bush Administration will be incorrectly blamed by propagandists looking to fend off criticism that their plan has failed, utterly.
• Gold and gas jump to all-time highs.
