Bill Buckley Does't Have To Watch
Both his political movement and he may be lost..

February 28, 2008

(America) - Bill Buckley is dead. You can read about his brilliance and completely competent view of just about everything someplace else. What you need to know in order to read this article is that he founded the conservative movement and lived for years with the humiliation that only the national media and their ignorant, destructive, petulant entertainment friends can heap on a person. In the end, for a short time, he was proven right.

Then came the greedy bastards who rode the cloak of the conservative movement into power. But, for a while. even when Murphy Brown tried to make fun of it, the reality and strength of Buckley's original ideas and acolytes made her mythically sterile self look really stupid - and that included the poor mistaken woman who played her.

Well, Bill Buckley is dead, and the people who wanted the power are leaving the ship like.. well.. moderates. There are days when I really, really hate people who think they can live in the middle of the road. At least liberals are occasionally honest about believing their dumb ideas.

Please don't tell me about Rush or Sean. They're fine people, but they are not the soul of the conservative movement. Buckley was. Rush's brain is the size of a pin compared with Bill's. No insult, just fact. Sean is.. well.. Sean.

All that's really left to be said, now, is that Bill doesn't have to see the cowards in the middle as they destroy his dream. There is some comfort there.
