(America) - God help us all! Have the Progressives no shame at all? Are we going to give away the entire store? Are we hell-bent on bankrupting the middle class?

The so-called "SCHIP" bill has been tauted as THE solution to the health needs of poor children. That's poor children whose parents make between $80,000 a year and zero. The Progressives say that the $80,000 figure is because some governors have a 300% of poverty limit to define poverty.

Is there anybody with any sanity who actually thinks that 300% of poverty is poverty? That's three (3) times the poverty level! THREE TIMES!

Haven't you have enough? Are you still going to vote for a Progressive? I know Republicans can be monumentally naive. It's their curse. It makes them look stupid when they're not. But honestly, wouldn't you rather have somebody in office who LOOKS stupid than someone whom you KNOW is a liar?

It does make a difference. And in any case, whatever socialism we allow must be for the very, very poorest. Certainly not for people making three times the poverty level.
