Told You So!

(South Carolina) - Here are some incredible headlines from today's news. Each story contains something I've commented on and warned about.

Khaled Abdul-Fattah Dawoud Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, (that's his real name), the middle man between al-Quaeda in Iran/Pakistan and Iraq has been captured. He's been the go between for terrorists around the globe and the Baathists in Iraq since 1997. Instead of rejoicing with Americans at the US Army's victory, Progressives are complaining that it's just an attempt to justify the Iraq war. I guess if Jesus returned right now, the Progressives would argue that it's just an attempt to justify the public worship of the Almighty.

The Progressive-led Senate wasted more of America's time, overnight, by putting up a cut-and-run solution to the war which they knew would fail. After losing the vote, now they're complaining about America's misconception of them wasting America's time. One pundit has already noted that they may be getting desperate as the surge in Iraq continues to win.

Texas authorities have arrested two women in burqas. They were wearing camo underneath and they had detailed operations information and diagrams of Texas airports, among others.

Another sports thug has been arrested for doing something thugs do. This time it's Falcons' disappointment, Michael Vick. Dogfighting ring. Feds have been working on this one since a dogfighting ring was busted in Chester county, two years ago. Famous people WERE involved. Told ya.

Mars is cold. Very cold. The atmosphere on Mars is 94% carbon dioxide (CO2). Scientists say the atmosphere can't hold warmth. Read that last sentence. Read it again.

Venus is hot. 900° hot. The atmosphere on Venus is 89% carbon dioxide (CO2). Scientists say the CO2 creates global warming. Read that last sentence. Read it again.

Planets that are clobbered really hard, heat up and stay hot for a long while. Mars hasn't been hit with anything significant in almost a billion years. Venus may have been clobbered, really hard, some time in the last 200 million years.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., says global warming science has been settled.

The Rapist/Murderer of little Jessica Lundsford has been ruled sane and of average intelligence. He can now be sentenced to death.

The medicaid prescription benefit has reduced drugs to a co-pay of 25 bucks a prescription up to 200 bucks a month. That's not enough to handle the average cost of a diabetic. The expense cannot be maintained.

We have experienced more prosperity in the past six and half years than at any other time except the Reagan administration. Most people in America think the economy stinks. NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC report that the economy stinks. It's also been reported as bad in all the major newspapers, but hardly anyone goes past the headlines, so papers don't count.

Be skeptical about everything you hear and read - even the local news. The odds of the information being incorrect or one-sided is great. We'll try to get it to you truthfully and tell you when it's opinion. That's all we can do.
