Dick Durbin is a Disease

January 11, 2007

(Washington, DC) – Somebody needs to slap Senator Richard Durbin (D), Illinois.

National Progressives, in a pathetic effort to resurrect the horrible reputation of their coward-in-chief, actually had him make the post presidential whine. All Americans need to ask themselves is: DO I REMEMBER?

Do we? Do we remember the revolting words of this man, three years ago, who said, in so many words, that American soldiers were no better than filth on the streets. Do we remember his cowardly words about cutting and running from the war? Do we remember who has been at the forefront of the failure of the war as a win for the Progressives?

Other than the majority media, which has always been populated by cowards (not just the lies about our losing the Vietnam War from Dan Rather, not just their pro-communist stand during the Reagan Administration, even in WWII, the New York Times and the Washington Post were anti-American - look it up), this one person (and his recent hand-puppet, Ted Kennedy) keeps weaseling his way into a position where people have to listen to him, and saying agregiously and morally offensive spiews.

Regardless of your feelings about the war, regardless of your political party, if you are not appalled by Durbin's totally inappropriate hubris (never mind that he told several falsehoods) during his speech, as if he had anything to do with the Progressives barely regaining some power or as if he were not the leering ghost of bad ideas and irony reigning, then you are personally responsible for any loss of the American soul.

And if we lose this fight in Iraq as Dick Durbin daily prays, it will be imminent, thereafter. We will have died of a disease called "Dick Durbin."
