       You know how, sometimes, you just get madder'n a old mud-hen shot out of a cannon? Well, that's me today. (Yes, I know, "That's I, today," ok?)

       Have we all just lost our minds, or are all those judges just trying to get under the conservative's skin? It's not enough to redefine treason as "anything other than what a liberal does," or to destroy the meanings of morals by destroying the meanings of words. No, no. NOW, you've got people running around thinking it's ok to treat children like skunks or worse.

       Now, if you belong to the group that thinks criminal laws were made to remove people from society who have done bad things, then read on. If you're from the other group, those folks who think criminal laws were meant to protect people, then stop reading right now. Really. Because none of the following is going to make sense to you.

       There is only one way to treat pedophiles: Kill them. Anyone who tells you differently is either insane, ignorant, or a pedophile. These people are not just sick, they are terminally sick. The recidivism rate on pedophiles is 100%. This is not my daydream or a Nazi's rant. I've just completed a survey of the most current psychiatric studies, and not one of them shows that therapy on pedophiles works.

       This is an astounding finding.

       But let's be fair. There are those pedophiles who are currently undergoing a new type of drug therapy. Their recidivism rate is only 82%. And the studies are not finished, yet. What happens when they go off the meds? The study answers that, too. They revert.

       Those of you who know me, know I think there are only three things for which execution should be legal:

1. Murder where there are two or more witnesses
2. Rape where there is incontrovertible DNA evidence and a complete psychological workup on the victim, and,
3. Pedophilia, where there is incontrovertible evidence - DNA or witnesses. (not "recaptured memories.")

       What good does it do to try to heal someone when we don't even know what the cause is? And execution is a vital, effective, elimination of the threat of pedophilia. This also includes child pornographers and those who aid and abet. ANY person who uses any child under 12 in such garbage should be liable for his/her life. The cameraman, the lighting guy, the best boy, everybody on the set, the guy who let them use the set - everyone involved - needle them. The guy who sells it, the people who buy it, should be locked up and never let out. And it should be a bare bones survival, too.

       What really should be done to those two people who starved five of their seven kids almost to death? Tell them it will be a public execution, but hire actors to jeer them and nobody else gets to see it. Slow drawing and quartering would be nice.

       Yes, death is the answer. Either that or make them listen to the speeches of Sen. Robert Byrd. That's like death, but with only a taste of hell.
