RANDOM ACTION
or, Strange Attractors Cause Global Cooling. Or not.

There's just too much to talk about and not enough space or time, so I'm just going to take a few potshots.
MLK Day in Greenville County. Long overdue. And, it came as a result of good, old-fashion politics, with whites and blacks voting together to elect the people who would give them what they wanted. Stop me, please, but isn't that what MLK's DREAM was all about? Other than the socialism thing? Wonder, though - will it be racist to remind people that MLK was very human? Or, are we going to canonize him? Will EVERYTHING he stood for be, defacto, true? 'Cause his ideas about socialism and sharing the wealth are stupid.
National Progressives' Reactions to Iraqi Election. Tacky.
State Progressives' Reactions to Iraqi Election. Reasonable and Patriotic.
GROUP HOME STABBING. If an insane person kills another insane person in a place where you keep insane people, is it murder? Who's idea was it anyway to put mentally deficient people in the same group home with Manic Depressives. Or people with dementia in with paranoid schizophrenics? Please remember that psychology is a good guess. It's not really even much of science, yet, and most of the real work is being done in the electro-chemistry of psychology. Yet somebody out there thinks this is hot stuff. Whatever it is, it's not even close to mainstreaming which, if memory serves correctly, was the whole idea of group homes in the first place. Maybe it's time we admit we made a mistake and go back to individualized group homes - Autistic people with autistic people, PS with PS, etc. Or at the very least, get more precise evaluations of the residents BEFORE they go stabbing people to death.
WHY CAN'T UNION HAVE A USC BRANCH? Maybe, if it got a little support, it might start being a moneymaker for itself. But when you have the axe-man hanging 'round its door all the dang time, who's going to feel like boosting the place? South Carolina could easily have a research arm at the Union campus. Not EVERYTHING has to happen in Columbia. We all know the Governor wants to decrease the size of government, but south carolina's university system is finally getting noticed the way it was back in the '30's & '40's, and now, when things are looking up, we want to sit on it again. Not just talking Gamecocks, here, folks, but Tigers and Chants and Patriots and Ups and Aiken and Union and Sumter, etc, etc. Maybe if USCU had a Big South Basketball Team..
And Finally, I could literally kiss all 100,000 of you who hit our pages every week. I am flabberghasted by your interest and loyalty. I would ask a favor of you, if you will. Call STEWART SPINX at 864-233-5421 and tell his secretary that you saw his ad on Swampfoxnews.com. Keep it short. It would help. A Lot..
