TELLING TRUTH TO NAACP
THE SLAVEMASTERS OF TODAY ARE BLACK AND LIBERAL.

As many of you already know, we have decided to start printing some of the FEEDBACK! email we get. If you want to write us an email about anything CLEAN, we'll print it. You don't even have to give your real name. The other day we got an excellent email from one of our readers in Columbia. I have printed it here and on the Letters To The Swamp page. I thought it was important and I also wanted to put my two cents in. So here's the letter and my response.
"Here's my letter to the Swamp,
It's interesting that the NAACP wants to make school choice a racial issue. Let's see...there were more African-Americans at the school choice rally with Governor Sanford on Tuesday than there were people at the NAACP march in January. It looks like the African-American populace knows now that their leadership doesn't have their best interest at heart.

SFN: The NAACP in South Carolina has wandered so far away from their base that they are having major problems keeping their younger members in line. It is the same problem that the State Dem Party has with the national party.
Liberals still think that it's 1958 and that all white Carolinians are dumb bigots. It simply isn't true anymore. There are many of us (and, yes, I mean US) who would lay down their lives for their black brothers. They are our equals.
In the Palmetto State, in the past, we treated everybody that way - Jews, Poles, Protestants, Catholics, Irish, Orientals, you name its - except Indians and Blacks. After 1861, only blacks were mistreated. (Indians fought for the South. They were to get, as an independent protectorate, what later became Oklahoma. After the war, those that could, especially Episcopalians, tried to protect Indians as equals. These days, we forget how savage the Yankees were toward our red brothers.)
Now, we have finally gotten over our rage from rape and reconstruction, and have come to our senses, we do not hate blacks and work to make things better. And we white guys and gals are simply not going to go back. We are all South Carolinians.
The only fight now lies within the consciousness of black people themselves. They must learn that we mean no harm and wish them only the success we all can achieve by hard work. Until black people repudiate their leadership and begin to think for themselves, they will remain slaves.
Some have already begun to free themselves. Many have not.
